No one said anything about getting high. My husband nor myself use medical cannabis for that reason. It's natural medicine, medicine God created, unlike pharmaceuticals. We do not use any over the counter medications for anything. I use medical cannabis because I have a damaged T5 and I have chronic pain from it. So I use it topically and sometimes I ingest it. There are people who use it to just "get high", those give others who actually use it for medicine a bad rap. I am all for anyone who needs it using it/growing their own because that's the best medicine for an individual as the plant uptakes your bad carbons and creates perfect medicine for your body. I don't like seeing these goofballs all over TV portraying cannabis as just something to get high with. I wish they'd stop because it gives good medicine and actual people who use it solely as such, a bad name.

@Telford_Escaper I use medical cannabis now, all legal but not cheap. Managed to give up alcohol years ago, I was an alcoholic in my 30s. I was diagnosed with CPTSD and Fibromyalgia about 2 years ago at 51; a result of untreated childhood trauma. Retired and registered disabled now at 53...

People think I'm a druggy and/or a drunk. Well no I'm not. I don't use drugs and I only drink when socialising which is not very often. I have very bad mobility issues and mental health problems. I have taken a few drugs in my past eg cocaine, marijuana. But I have never been an addict. I have drunken loads too in my past but never been a alcoholic. All the survivors and victims of Pakistani rape gangs are not the same. We all have different story's to tell....

@DementiaLeague Well i use medical cannabis for all my conditions and helps keep my head level and calm. I know someone with early onset dementia too who used cannabis and they say it does really help them especially in the evenings.

@drcaplan My Dr put me on Opoids several years ago for my Chronic pain 😢 they almost killed me. I use Medical Cannabis now and nothing else. It's a plant 🪴 and should be descheduled

@SDSLLC_USA @TaraBull808 I use medical cannabis for chronic pain. I don’t post videos of it because I take it serious as a form of natural medication. I choose against taking pills cut in a government or international lab. Marijuana is truly a helpful resource for a lot of medical issues.

@SarahisCensored As a stroke survivor I use medical cannabis for muscle spasms that occur at night. If it is banned in Texas I will be forced to break the law and get it elsewhere. I mostly approve of Dan’s fights but he is wrong on this one.

Please watch. This escalates to the point where I was in tears for this poor mother. When Dan Patrick announced that he was going to ban THC/hemp products in Texas, I knew this would be the result. This mother has a son with a severe seizure disorder and is respectfully asking for more research into cannabis and its uses for neurological disorders, instead of a full ban. When those opposed to the bill began to testify, half of the committee members, including the author of the bill, got up and left. The gallery was cleared for clapping after it was requested that committee members return to the committee room.

@sola_chad So many judges on here. I use medical cannabis to sleep. What’s the difference in that and taking a pill from the doc to sleep. With medical you can get it with the pyso stuff not in it. Them without sin cast the first stone. No sin is greater than another. Should I go on!

@MikeTyson I use medical cannabis and it benefits me greatly. There are so many potential benefits to cannabis. Of course, studies are lacking. Medicine is slow to catch up.

I’m gonna have to disagree with you. I use medical cannabis and have now for a couple years to treat my pain and PTSD. Having used pharmaceuticals previously with no help from them and adverse side effects, I turned to “weed”. I’m healthier and feel better than before. No more morphine tablets for my destroyed spine and joints. No more meds that make me feel groggy and worse than weed does. I’m clearer in my head and body than when I used pharmaceuticals previously prescribed by doctors. My body feels better overall without big pharma’s garbage. I’m a former firefighter/emt and a combat veteran. I’ve done my own research and utilized my life experience to make the decision to use medical cannabis over big pharma’s garbage. I don’t drink alcohol or use drugs. I try to eat healthy foods that don’t contain chemicals and additives. I’m way better off this way. All those against weed and drink alcohol are hypocrites. Alcohol incites violence. Weed doesn’t. Pharmaceuticals kill. Weed doesn’t. All who are against weed are pro big pharma and alcohol. Sad the hypocrisy of the world.
