Film producers have long since known that you can use reenactors and history nerds as cheap extras who are not only cheap extras but also bring their own costumes free of charge. Film producers however also have long since known that theese people can be a nightmare to work with professionally.

@ASm1thee @l7mbss You’re taking into account that Grace didn’t have any family or loved ones, not even a pet. Maybe all these people did. Also these people are in different countries. Grace has been by her side the whole time. Also only two days till launch so there’s a time issue.

@l7mbss Tyson is right actually. We see earlier in the movie that there were tons of other scientists studying astrophage. It didn't have to be Grace. Stratt was just lazy.

@carebecc Long takes have become very common now that I feel they’re not as impactful anymore, not a new observation granted, but the long take they do in burn was great. It felt so intense that I realised I wasn’t breathing halfway through.
