- most of the base animations were done in @jittervideo - Capcut has some WILD effects including that 3D laptop I had, you have to dig a little but you can find really useful stuff - @Riyvir animated a few of the gradients in after effects as well

I might sound like a boomer, but I think the world becomes unbearably digitalized. And I'm part of the problem too. My house is almost fully automated. My car drives itself. I have digital solutions that don't need to be digital. I might feel like this, because I am almost turning 40 - call it nostalgia. But I need to get back to basics. Flying airplanes built in the 80s where the only electronic devices are the required ones is a great start in the right direction to cope with this. But I also feel like driving cars with manual transmission again. More changes coming. Btw, am I the only one feeling like this? 👴🏻

Finally had the time to sit down and watch this! What a banger! So happy you're doing long form on youtube now Rob! I do have a few questions for @ErnestoSOFTWARE though: 1. When you pay your friends or other UGC creators, do they also do the editing of the videos? 2. Why do you focus on Instagram more than on TikTok or Youtube shorts? 3. Can you start with hiring UGC creators or do you have to start with filming yourself first to find what works? Can you hire someone to just do the reaction videos you want and then you do the editing?

You have to find a way to let users differentiate between when they are on project settings and when they are on global settings. It looks the same and it’s confusing, especially to new users who don’t know where things are and then they think wait env variables for this project was here before but now I have to click the env variables and then click on the project and the flow is different. It’s not only the settings but a bunch the UI navbar options inside a project and outside in the global navbar options look identical and it’s confusing.

@malisauskasLT @Shopify If you had to start over again today from 0 would you build on Shopify? Or would you go to a smaller market where they have less competition to build there? Im currently building plugins for Framer but their market is very small and their user spending feels a bit tight too.

I don’t believe you have to worry about missing opportunities that much. Opportunities are always there. If one dries up and you miss out on it there will always be another one or even a better one because that’s how fundamental economics work. There will always be a new thing to build for, a new gap in the market, a new niche, a new need, a new market itself(ex: Ai, Internet, Eccomerce). Nothing stays king forever, there will always be new competition and gaps in markets, abundance of opportunities waiting to be plucked.

I sometimes get these spikes of signups to my plugin but non of them convert. Which is weird compared to how it usually works, where every couple signups someone starts a trial. Honestly can’t figure out why, anyone have ideas?
