My dad never talked about it. He died of Parkinson’s which he got from agent orange. The only time I saw him cry was when we went to visit the traveling Vietnam wall. I had to stop @megynkelly @MegynKellyShow I had been a viewer since her day show on fox and watched her nbc show. To say she is disappointing is an understatement. The Israel-blame game is horrific, but the simple fact that she coward to Candance and (still) doesn’t defend Erika is why I stopped. Total hypocrisy.

Nobody has profiteered more off of Charlie's death than you have, Candace, and you share plenty of Charlie's private communications with you. But there are a few important differences: 1. You were not Charlie's wife. 2. Your messages tend to be from half a decade ago or more -- I wonder why! 3. You love referring to dates he went on and women he knew prior to Erika. There is very clearly no reason to do this except trying to humiliate Erika, and you were doing even before you started accusing her of helping murder Charlie. 4. You do all of this to profit yourself. Yeah, Turning Point needs to raise money. It does that because it actually does things. It puts on multiple conferences a year, it organizes campus events and faith events; TP Action employs literally hundreds of people for ballot chasing efforts in swing states. You've never done anything remotely comparable -- and you couldn't, because you have neither the talent nor the selflessness to do it. All you have is the narcissism to think that what Charlie built should have been handed over to you for free.

I just finished watching the first two episodes of @FaudaOfficial season 5 and there's a reason this is the only show I was willing to watch about October 7. After two years of being traumatized by the real-world news day in and day out, hearing firsthand stories and getting them across to the world in various ways, taking visitors to kibbutzim, the Nova site and Mount Herzl, the last thing I wanted was to relive that trauma by watching all the content that's come out about that day – the books and the documentaries and the shows with fictionalized versions of real events – that serve an important purpose in telling these stories any way we can, but aren’t how I want or need to be spending my time these days (a day for those will come). Fauda, however, was different in many ways. Here was a show I’ve watched every episode of, twice, and couldn’t resist seeing how these characters would experience the cataclysm that we all endured. I also had great trust in the writers to do this story justice without taking the easy way out by reaching for heartstrings begging to be pulled. I knew they wouldn’t let us wallow in our pity or turn us into victims. I knew they would give the viewer not what we wanted, but what we needed – a slow and steady entry into a world half-real, half-fiction and 100% Fauda that keeps you on the edge of your seat while your heart rate jumps into 5th gear – and the first two episodes do exactly that. But most importantly, they tell a story the world needs to hear in a way that people can hear it – even those who don't want to. I don't know any other show that can do that. Only Fauda. I just feel sorry for the rest of you who have to wait for it in English.

Sometimes I really wonder what is going on here, and how much of what we see is a purposeful manipulation vs. a form of sad hysteria. Take one example. Here’s an account I’ve been seeing more recently but seems like a fake person spreading false propaganda who goes by “Ally J Kiss.” The account has a few thousand followers, but often has video posts about it out-of-context clips that accrue hundreds of thousands of views. Tonight the “Ally Kiss” account shared a 47 second clip which already has 100k+ views. It has 5 obvious edits in it - like not even attempting to pretend otherwise. The copy is not a direct quote, but presents itself as verbatim text. And of course the whole thing is a complete lie - the actual clip is saying essentially the exact opposite of the framing in the post: youtu.be/6FN6CCYoJcs?si… Then this post is reposted by a variety of prominent accounts - all of whom do not even follow this account “Ally Kiss.” How did it even show up in their timeline? Did the algorithm feed them it? Some other way? They share it unquestioningly and add their own commentary. It fits their narrative so they spread the lie. Do they intentionally know this is false? Or is it just too good to check? Some add further lies to it. They mistake the order of the events taking place even in this poorly-constructed edited video. I like X, but for the perpetually online, this is life now. They saw propaganda, they bought it, they spread it, they believe it (or… maybe they don’t), and they move on (their followers don’t know otherwise). It’s their right of course, but it’s alarming and a little depressing.

@KenGardner11 I understand why you could watch it once. I make myself watch it once every couple of years to REMEMBER. This is what’s lacking with our younger generations. It’s almost like they don’t know or understand what happened.

When all this stuff started like six months ago, some of us told you it was only going to get worse because when you go down this road, you don't stop. And we've now gone from Megyn rightly calling out Islamification to claiming the Jews tricked her into opposing Islam.
