Fantastic to see adoption in Australia. Andrew and Ryan from our team were happy to help out as mentors and impressed by the innovative ideas of university students. The focus was on building on the XRPL, with a specific importance on the new amendments such as the lending protocol XLS-66D.

XRPL Hackathon Australia Hosted by @Ripple at XRP Australia The official XRPL Hackathon took place at the University of New South Wales ( @UNSW ). The event offered developers a prime opportunity to build and showcase real-world applications on the XRP Ledger, leveraging cutting-edge features such as the RLUSD stablecoin, lending protocols, and smart escrow to create innovative payment solutions. Prizes included: •⁠ ⁠AUD 3,000 for first place •⁠ ⁠⁠AUD 2,000 for second place •⁠ ⁠⁠AUD 1,000 for third place. Congratulations to all participants for their strong contributions. Special thanks to Lauren Weymouth for her outstanding leadership in organising this event.
