While taking @congressdj to his hotel in Houston this afternoon, we discussed one of things we keep hearing over and over again in the comments to my video post from yesterday, that the Cybertruck had FSD disengaged for four seconds prior to impact. So after leaving DJ's hotel and heading back home, I went back to the Eastex Park & Ride exit ramp, and did the same thing as yesterday (let FSD take me up the ramp), but this time I disengaged FSD at the exact same location where the Fox News video starts, which was four seconds prior to the impact. I think the video speaks for itself.

Absolutely - The last mile dynamics of autonomy! I’d love things like ‘When entering the garage, park on the right side 2 feet away from the side walls’ or ‘Grok, Monitor this drive and route and next time I want to take this specific route, use FSD to route me from point to point’. Great convo with @Redwire space on their full range of capabilities. I’m particularly bullish on their unique capabilities with biotech use cases in microgravity. Although @SpaceInvestor_D only could get 5 mins of output from the CEO on this topic inspite of the persistent questions :), appreciate the best and current info on their upcoming projects as well. A new interesting update is their capability to do Organ printing in space. When NASA and Big pharma start the RFPs, it will be a tsunami and I don’t think there is anyone with the capability to do stem cell research, clinical trials, immune response studies and more than Redwire is. I would love to be corrected on this though. Lastly, NASA has a program for high school kids called genelab. Returning back from Sac. Two separate incidents in 30 mins! So many distracted drivers. One weaving into your lane at 75 mph with no indicators and second one splitting many lanes to almost hit me. FSD 14.2.2.5 did a phenomenal job moving swiftly into the next lane and safely to avoid a collision 👏 Happened so fast that I have no idea if I’d have handled it manually even with my 30 year driving experience @Tesla_AI

I went to the exact same location of the Cybertruck accident shown in the Fox News video. This is the US-69/59 Eastex Freeway northbound HOV lane at the Y-split near the Eastex Park & Ride exit (approaching from downtown Houston toward Humble). In the Fox News video, the vehicle failed to follow the right curve, going straight into the barrier. Well, I tested it twice today with Tesla FSD engaged the entire time with zero human intervention. And unless you think I am a hologram speaking to you from another dimension now, it worked out really well. Here is the video of me taking the exact same curve twice, with Tesla FSD v14.2.2.5.
