I drew this piece by hand ✍️ to reflect on how AI is transforming the art forms I grew up loving. I remember treasuring every second of "My Neighbor Totoro" and eagerly awaited the next release from Studio Ghibli every two or three years. I treasured the craftsmanship put into every hand-drawn frame. Even though it is not the most efficient method to create animations, especially in the age of AI, it is the most effective way to connect and touch my heart! I, for one, am really glad to see that according to @TIME, that acknowledged authority on AI, 62.5% of "the architects of AI" never wrote a peer reviewed paper on AI. Here is hoping there will be more and more architects, so there are fewer AI conference reviewing crises..🤞
