this is a weird feeling but let me explain when I think of my wife, it's not just love there, there's this protectiveness I know on some soul-deep level she's got an innocence and loveliness that I will never ever have, and it's my job to protect it and keep the world lovely because it has her in it and being in close proximity to this loveliness for a few years, that protective feeling kind of extends to other people.
