Hello @ikadotxyz. It has been one month since I asked about inksack with no answer. And now it appears IKA is repositioning for Solana. So I ask again, for everyone on SUI that invested and locked their IKA. WHEN WILL THE SEASON ACTUALLY END? Or is the locked IKA now just "staked forever?"

@KaelKenner @moonmission88 @ikadotxyz I dunno just assume for future airdrop. They said the Ika token will remain the same, it will just be available on both chains. We all got a lot of points from season 1 lasting so long so they'll probably just calculate everyone's points relative to each other.

@AftermathFi For anyone wondering about rewards, I deposited $500 to play with and would do 1 to 2 trades a day with 5x leverage and decently tight tp/sl. They just gave me $70 for those 2 weeks of trading along with 5700 points from that and my aflp deposit. Solid deal. Join and dilute me.

Epoch 2 rewards are live. Rewards + Points for afLP, Makers, and Takers have all been distributed, on top of AF farms incentives being replenished. Every reward goes directly to the users trading and providing liquidity on Aftermath. Check your incentives and points: aftermath.finance/rewards

@ViktorDefi Then, as much as I'd like the points all to myself, I must shill you @AftermathFi. They're a fully onchain perpdex that deserves recognition for what they've accomplished. Tokenless with points program. Just hit mainnet like 2 weeks ago.

unfortunately the problem is with turbotax and not koinly. we have a similar one. we have a slight work around to let you export an aggregated summary for turbotax so the numbers update but then you have to mail in 8949. turbotax hates crypto users and doesn't enable you to actually import your 8949 (for any product, they have not given us an ETA on the fix).

It's actually insane to me how many clients have said "I'm done with crypto" and have not made a single transaction in 2026.

Let's talk about category leaders in digital assets... Wallets: Metamask, Phantom, Rabby Hardware Wallets: Ledger, Trezor L1: BTC, ETH Stablecoin issuers: Tether, Circle These are the obvious ones, but there's so many which are not so obvious to the public. On-ramp: ??? Bridge: ??? Banking partner: ??? 2FA device: ??? Data analytics: ??? Tax service: ??? Auditor: ??? I'm trying to figure out the real A+ brands are of these categories and why. There's many more service categories in crypto, but who's leading them? Tell me who the category leaders are my friends.

@0xTheGeneral I think it's just a waiting game for the infrastructure to produce apps and ux that are undeniable and widely used, but at the moment, there's not enough differentiation. As a user, why switch from Solana, for example, when it has much more liquidity flowing and trading's smooth.

lots of people in the comment saying “lack of users” still fail to address the root cause question why don’t the rest of CT take $sui serious? is the foundation’s strategy to prioritize onboarding non-crypto natives to make up the userbase better than attracting already existing base with wholesome years of experience using, experimenting and improving the very novel products being built on it?

what do you think sui's biggest problem is right now?

@oluakachii @Picolas_Caged The math was a bit off. Your LP would be worth more than $5k if LBTC went up 50% in this case, but you're basically selling LBTC as it rises to keep the balance with USDC in the pool so you end up with less in dollar terms than you would if you just held your LBTC.

@Picolas_Caged So, the pool contract is configured in such way the pool owner can buy users out without informing them? So, who takes the profit for the rebalanced 50% LBTC pump?

I'm a bit drunk but I think a lot of people don't understand how impermanent loss works which is when you enter a 2 sided LP like ETH/USDC or something. If you take $5k of liquidity, let's say 2.5k of USDC and $2.5k of LBTC. Your official deposit amount for that pool is $5k. Now, let's say $LBTC goes up 50% because BTC mooned. The pool simply rebalances your position. Meaning, you now have $3.5k USDC and $1.5k LBTC. It's problematic because if you withdrew those funds from the LP now, you would get back $3.5k USDC but only $1.5k $LBTC. That would then be impermanent. The reason they call it impermanent is because technically the LP could rebalance back to the exact range it was before (if Bitcoin retraced the 50% pump) This is why 2 sided pools like ETH/USDC pools have really high APR's. If the APY you're earning via DeFi isn't enough to offset this IL (impermanent loss) you end up effectively losing money vs just holding the token. Like if you make a pairing with ETH but you expect ETH to do well, you might as well just hold the ETH and let the price appreciate. Hope this makes sense. Also i'm 90% sure that my explanation is correct. Thanks, back to drinking now 😘

@kingsweapon @0xPolygon My simple understanding is this: Polygon zkEVM is completely separate from polygon POS and other chains that are built using the polygon cdk. Currently, you have to bridge between the chains, but soon they'll be able to connect to the agglayer making it feel like one chain.

@0xPolygon Can someone explain to me the Polygon ecosystem in simple terms? I don't get the relationship between Polygon --> Polygon zkEVM mainnet --> Polygon CDK What is Polygon zkEVM mainnet and how does it work with Polygon PoS and the custom chains that can be launched via the CDK?

Polygon zkEVM Mainnnet Beta faced an issue with its sequencer due to an L1 reorg. We are working on fully resolving the issue and will follow up with a detailed post-mortem. This only impacts Polygon zkEVM (which is the only rollup) and does not impact Polygon PoS, Polygon CDK, or any chain that has deployed using Polygon CDK. We look forward to our release of the second gen zkEVM in the coming weeks.
