What you said makes no sense whatsoever. For a conservative, what matters is tradition without ruptures, though still allowing for progress. Nolan’s film is an aesthetic, historical, and cultural rupture. It betrays the original story, the country of origin, and the underlying culture. So your argument is foolish and not a conservative one.

Bernie Sanders added my HBCU FAMU to his college tour in 2016 during the primary. He never came though, he cancelled and never said a word about it.
Do you know who did show up? VP Joe Biden and President Bill Clinton to stump for Hillary.
And people wonder why black people disdain Sanders. He doesn’t show up for them.

@m7mdkurd AOC’s fan club had to twist this into “who is better AOC or MTG” in order to defend her, but that shouldn’t be the point. It should be “why can you “align” with Ted Cruz in a cause you believe in, but MTG you can’t?” Because that’s the crux of her argument.

What makes this statement so hollow is that AOC does not seem to have an issue coalescing with white nationalists—e.g. Tom Cotton, Ted Cruz—on other issues (China). The inconsistency is revealing and so is her deliberate choice to treat her base as if they are clueless children. But to win them over she must be explicit in her anti-Zionism, instead of catering to a non-existent voter. A good first step would be to apologize for carrying water for the genocidal Biden administration.

AOC: I personally do not trust somebody like Marjorie Taylor Greene—a proven bigot and anti-semite—on the issues of what is good for Gazans and Israelis. I don’t think it benefits our movement to align with white nationalists.
