Flat buyers applied for transformer installation without developer knowledge. Installed the transformer in the common area with violating plan and RERA 14.

@bpradhanodisha No Society as on today, and as per my knowledge, it is not registered as per OAOM act 2023

@bpradhanodisha No..there is no Association. 5 buyers of 7 flats applied transformer connection without knowledge of developer and they got approval from electricity department to install transformer and assigned the common work to their own contractor. We complained many times but not success

Bulk electric connection to housing projects is the norm these days. Many people have tried to take individual connections but the electricity distribution company has rejected such applications in those projects which has been connected with a bulk connection. A few buyers approached the courts for individual connections but did not succeed. Having said that, the builder is duty bound to transfer the connection in the name of the Association after OC is received and the Common Area is registered in the name of the Association.

In one case I personally complained that a building doesn't have OC and Fire certificate. Still the company is going ahead and giving connection. Money 💰 is the only concern.
