With a public footpath passing in front of our home we often see people looking and sometimes hear the comments "that's a lot of solar panels" Yep , we’re lucky to have 31 panels in total How big is your array? Can it be too big?

This tiny soy sauce fish might be one of the smartest sustainability upgrades I’ve seen in packaging lately. It looks small, but the design thinking behind it is anything but. After five years of development, Heliograf created a soy sauce container made from sugarcane bagasse that breaks down in home compost in just 6 weeks. That means a familiar single use format now has a far better ending. What makes this so strong is that it keeps the fish shaped design people already know and the squeeze function they expect. But it improves the experience with a larger 12mL capacity, solving one of the biggest annoyances of the original plastic version. The smartest part is that this is not just a material swap. Restaurants can fill the soy sauce on site, which can mean fresher product and less transport related waste. That is what good sustainable packaging looks like. It does not only reduce harm, it improves the system and the user experience at the same time. Since 2020, Heliograf has reportedly helped eliminate over 32 tonnes of ocean plastic, or about 32 million plastic soy sauce fish. That is a reminder that real change often starts with the smallest overlooked object. The bigger lesson here is simple. Sustainability is not about sacrifice, it is about smarter design choices that make the product better from start to finish. If even the tiny soy sauce fish can be redesigned this well, imagine how many other everyday plastics are ready for a better answer. Follow Paking Duck for more packaging ideas like this.

Does anyone know when you do a Tesla battery pack health test, does it drain your battery and then charge back up based on your charging schedule? Or is it just whenever it's told based on the test? I want to run one, but I definitely don't want it to charge up during on peak

Currently staying at a hotel on the motorway services. Two supercharger sites available, one north and one southbound. @tesla PLEASE let us precondition the battery remotely. It’s probably at 12° right now and when I plug it in later it’s going to have no time to warm up

Sometimes you’ve got to step out, move differently and enjoy the moment. That’s how real change happens. Not by blending in, but by standing out and showing there’s another way to do things. 🍷♻️

Can you clarify how the congestion fees work? I charged up to 98% at a Supercharger while eating at the host diner on a road trip. There were only 3/8 stalls in use, so I didn't feel like a deep charge would be an issue. There was no warning about a congestion fee when I plugged in and I only noticed it when I got an email later that day. Fortunately the first fee was waived, but this wasn't a great experience

@KurtSupeCPA If they are also an iPhone user you can share the access key with them and it’s stored in their iCloud under the Legacy Contact section

One thing most people miss. Your Legacy Contact needs two things to actually access your account. The Access Key you created. And a certified copy of your death certificate. They submit both at digital-legacy.apple.com. Without the Access Key the process becomes a legal fight with Apple that most families lose. Do not store that key only on your phone. Print it. Put it with your will. Tell your executor exactly where it is.

A 71 year old man dies in March. Will. Trust. Beneficiaries on every account. He did everything right. BUT he kept his entire life on his IPHONE. Banking apps. Brokerage accounts. Crypto wallets. PayPal. Venmo. Credit cards. Passwords. Financial records going back many years. And every photo he ever took. His grandkids. His anniversaries. Years of family memories that exist nowhere else. His wife found a passcode scribbled on a piece of paper in his desk drawer. It didn't work. She tried everything. Nothing worked. What followed was months of frustration and thousands in legal fees recovering accounts and memories that were never hidden from her. A perfect estate plan on paper. Zero estate plan for his phone. Nobody ever told him his smartphone needed one too. Here's the free two minute fix that could have saved her all of that. 🧵

@sarah_go_green I have Ohme and Tesla. Think there’s a How To somewhere for this scenario, you have to delete all the schedules from the Ohme app (comes with some by default). I don’t use the Ohme app at all now, just Octopus. Basically you are turning the Ohme into a dumb charger

Hi was wondering if you can help me I’ve just installed my Ohme pro charge for my Tesla but intelligent octopus go and the ohme app are contradicting each other but because it’s a Tesla it won’t let me pair them to together only let me pair the car and octopus go together

This is how I like to roll into Supercharging stalls to speed up both, the long drives and the charging sessions. Especially if I intend to stay longer to eat or stretch my legs a bit. I've been doing it for years with 4 different EVs and never had an issue arriving low, and if possible, will continue doing it. Unless there is a problem with the pack or the reading is different to the actual state of charge. x.com/TesLatino/stat…
