🚨🔥 BREAKING: Liam Rosenior DROPS Cole Palmer for clash vs Brighton and the reason is EXPLOSIVE.
Sources close to Chelsea claim the decision wasn’t just about form, it came after a heated disagreement behind the scenes.
Palmer is said to have questioned the manager’s tactics in training, reportedly telling teammates the system is “too safe” and “kills attacking players.” That didn’t go down well.
Rosenior, already under pressure, is believed to have taken it personally and made a statement by axing one of the team’s biggest names from the starting XI.
Insiders say this isn’t an isolated issue either. There’s growing tension in the dressing room, with several players frustrated over constant tactical changes and lack of attacking freedom.
Palmer’s recent dip in form may have given the manager the excuse but this decision feels deeper than football.
Big call. Big risk.
If Chelsea struggle today… this could blow up fast.
💬 Has Rosenior lost the dressing room or is he right to make an example out of Palmer?

@CFCWils @FutyChels @grok How the Fxxx does an AI machine know what's happening in a football club. FFS grow up. Grok knows F.A.

Mmmm. Bit weird 👇🏻 but hey ho … for all those claiming we won’t listen to people who share @jk_rowling views we have in the past asked @jk_rowling who said no. She is a leading voice and therefore we would happily talk to her on LEADING. Previous attempts have been rebuffed.

Spot on.

@coyleneil Funny how you've never commented on unemployment levels before during this parliament.
Why is that, Neil?
Oh, yes, now I see.

@campbellclaret @RoryStewartUK @RestIsPolitics Rory's view of Slimer might not be for the faint-hearted, but I suspect you're ready to pucker up your lips for him.
English

Only watched the opening of Olly Robbins’ evidence because @RoryStewartUK and I were recording this week’s @RestIsPolitics and trying to follow simultaneously (multitasking!!) From what I saw and hear from people whose judgement I trust it is clear he is a big loss to the civil service. As for Rory’s views on the PM … not for the faint-hearted…

@WolfgangRichtEU @Alexarmstrong @KemiBadenoch Hey Wolfgang, can you advise or maybe not, but what part of Germany is in Cyprus ?

@Alexarmstrong @KemiBadenoch Dear Alex,
We don't take kindly to jokes in Germany.
All the best,
Wolfgang

The evidence from Olly Robbins is devastating to Keir Starmer.
It is clear that No10 not only made the appointment before vetting was completed, but that Mandelson was already acting as the Ambassador before the vetting - even seeing highly classified documents.
With this, and the 'constant pressure' No10 applied to the appointment and their 'dismissive attitude' to vetting Mandelson, it is now absolutely clear that 'full due process' was not followed.
Keir Starmer has misled the House.
English

@KathrynDW59 @IsabelOakeshott @Keir_Starmer @DavidLammy Then why has @Keir_Starmer blamed everyone else.
English

@IsabelOakeshott @Keir_Starmer @DavidLammy Blimey - your definition of sticking knife in is different to mine .. ! The PM has admitted it was a mistake.

@campbellclaret @jk_rowling There's nothing more weird than writing a dossier saying someone had WMDs that could be launched in 45 minutes, that then costs the lives of service personnel and Iraqi civilians.

@martychimp99 @LeeAndersonMP_ Oh dear, if you think that Lee Anderson speaks for the working man, then something’s gone wrong. He makes £95,000 from being an MP, and a further £100,000 from GB News

I just can't understand why anyone would vote for @LeeAndersonMP_, his tone in Parliament when speaking to the PM just now was quite frankly disgusting.

Hertfordshire Police will pay £34,000 compensation to 47-year-old IT director Samuel Smith after admitting in a High Court settlement that they unlawfully arrested him at his home on 6 March 2025 and detained him overnight in a cell at Hatfield police station.
Smith, who blogs under the pseudonym 'Matthew Hopkins, the Witchfinder General', had written about two men who falsely accused a woman of being a paedophile, describing them as an extremist and a drug user, which prompted the complaint for false and malicious communications.
Around a dozen officers raided his Hertfordshire property, seized his electronic devices during an unlawful search and held him in custody despite body-worn footage showing him visibly shaken answering the door in his dressing gown.
Just six days later internal police logs confirmed the search was not lawful, no offence had been committed and the investigation was dropped.
Hertfordshire Police admitted in the court order that the arrest and detention were unlawful, that officers had trespassed and that Smith committed no crime.
As part of the out-of-court settlement the force apologised, scrubbed the arrest record from the Police National Computer and added a marker stating he was the subject of false allegations.
