Here we go again. Another over the top celebration at 12u. If you think this is good for baseball, you are the problem. Bat almost hits him in the face after the spike, then all the "look at me" antics, and you gotta love the cameraman on the field running with the kid. What a joke. It's all a show...🤦🏼♂️

The coaches and parents who allow this to go on are the problem. Instead of teaching kids how to play the game the right way and show respect for the opponent they’re worried about getting viral attention. Embarrassing.

Okay, someone tell me why this is okay? What’s the benefit to this? Then on the other hand tell me why we shouldn’t allow this? Let’s hear both sides….

I’m all for emotion & excitement in the game of baseball, anyone that plays for me knows. But coaches mid air chest bumping players as they run around the bases is an absolute 🤡 show and sets a horrible example for players. And for players… there’s celebrating a HR w/ raw emotion and there’s straight up disrespecting your opponent. You do this in high level college baseball or MILB/MLB, you’re putting your entire lineup at risk to get thrown at or start a brawl. Real travel ball programs don’t allow this.

Where do 12u kids learn to chuck the bat like this? It almost hits him right in the face on the ricochet
