Communism cannot come into existence before the necessary technologic preconditions for superabundance are met, just like Capitalism couldn't exist before the industrial revolution. Those necessary preconditions, possibly full automation with AI and robotics, fusion energy it other advanced energy sources, full control over biology. If that happens and brings super abundance, is it conceivable that the poorest under the next mode of production, Communism, will live better than the billionaires of today's Capitalism?
