@Toluwalopemi_1 @konstructivizm If you threw a ball up in the air at a target and missed the target, how would the ball return to the ground?
English

@konstructivizm If, if the craft misses the moon, how can it turn back?
English

Why is the flight to the Moon so slow?
I've seen the question many times: "Why is the Artemis 2 flight tracker showing such a low speed, or why is it dropping at all?" In short, it's all about gravity.
Even though the spacecraft initially accelerated enough to leave Earth's immediate vicinity, our planet's gravity continues to exert its influence on the way to the Moon. How does it hold the Moon?
As Orion flies, Earth continues to pull it back and slow it down. That's why the speed drops. Orion was initially accelerated enough to fly slightly beyond the Moon's orbit, after which the spacecraft turns under Earth's gravity and, with the additional assistance of the Moon's gravity, rushes back toward Earth—again, under the influence of the Moon's gravity.
The Artemis 2 flight trajectory is not coincidentally called a free-return trajectory. This means it can return without additional thruster activation, using gravity assist (although in practice, corrective maneuvers are used). On the way back, Orion's speed, on the contrary, will increase.

@S_Doogood @WallStreetApes The price you pay for not picking it up yourself? If you don't care to do it yourself, don't be shocked when a stranger doesn't care to do it for you either.
English

@kslik7 @ItIsHoeMath Doesn't matter what you're doing now, we all remember the bird hands you made in your first post.
English

The average person is so stupid that they will say "haha you have a cheap car, that means you are creepy and dangerous" and then turn right around and say
"this obviously different species from the other side of the planet that actually rolls around in shit all day should move in next door to me in unlimited numbers because we are all the same"
Sydney Jones@SydneyJones_
How often do you guys reshit your house?
English

@ReturnoftheRolf @Black_Pilled I offered a straight path and you’re acting like I threw a curve.
English

@ReturnoftheRolf @Black_Pilled None of us can afford a tunnel boring machine to drill a chord to your house.
English

@Black_Pilled i live in illinois. would you like my address? i have a shotgun btw
English

@Black_Pilled @Jerkstore723 It's the pancuck's kafkatrap variant of "comments on any article about feminism justify feminism."
Or just wimp lo "I am bleeding - making me the victor"

English

@Jerkstore723 "the fact that you call out my stupid idea is proof that it's not stupid" is some smooth brained shit
English

@AELeighton2 @StefanMolyneux >cleaning up after yourself and maintaining your own excesses
>forced labor
lol, you really are overgrown children.
English

Women have always been paid for housework.
It’s called the “house”
Gabrielle Blair@designmom
We didn’t fight to work. Women have ALWAYS worked. We fought to get paid.
English

@squiggle888 @StefanMolyneux Performance-related pay is exactly where you don't want women. Performance-related pay is why men leave shit jobs because they realize working harder gets them nothing except redistribution of their excess performance to underperforming women.
English

@StefanMolyneux Many women objected to the lack of performance related pay. Her access to resources was dictated by the mood of her husband and could be cut off at any time. If his team didn’t win the game she wouldn’t get a bonus.
English

@VoiceIslanderFn @EmmaRincon Let's just raise the tip rate to 100% and watch what happens. I predict fewer customers and diminishing returns. You end up losing money because you got greedy.
English

@EmmaRincon Hey… just because you’re a cheap fuck doesn’t mean the rest of us have to be. You do you, chief.
English

I went to a steakhouse in Miami, paid the bill, and they automatically added a 20% tip.
When the waiter brought the check, he said: “That tip goes to the whole establishment—if you want to leave something for me, it’s extra.”
I didn’t add anything else—20% is already too much. He gave me a dirty look, like I was robbing him.
This tipping culture is out of control.
English

@Hipcescu @newstart_2024 Nah, genocide was the policy of the savages preceding us. They're lucky we let them live.
English

@newstart_2024 Balance and fairness have never been the foundation of the USA. Genocide, yes. Opportunity – only for some.
English

Russell Crowe didn’t hold back when he shared this:
“Guys that are coming down to train me in some weapon or other… they do a lot of traveling but it’s all within the continental USA. And they come to Australia and they didn’t realize that other people have opinions.”
Then he continued with real conviction:
“It’s still to me the greatest country in the world — the United States of America. Absolutely. The greatest potentials are all here. But how it remains great is because it was founded on balance, fairness, and opportunity… not by taking opportunity away from people, but by affording it to them.”
He was reflecting on the contrast between American confidence at home and the pushback he sometimes sees when Americans travel abroad. His point lands hard: America’s greatness isn’t automatic. It has to be protected by staying true to the principles of fairness and opportunity that made it exceptional in the first place.
A simple but powerful reminder.
What do you think — is “affording opportunity” still the beating heart of American greatness, or has that foundation started to erode?
English

@JudahGabriel @eduardoe @WindowsLatest Yeah that's called being poorly-written because you hired enterprise devs instead of people who understand hardware.
English

@eduardoe @WindowsLatest I don't think this is true. Many native apps, both on Windows and Mac, launch slower than their web counterparts.
English

Microsoft is putting together a new team to focus on building 100% native apps for Windows 11.
And honestly, it’s long overdue.
The real problem with Windows 11 isn’t ads, but the shift from native apps to web apps.
The rushed adoption of web over native frameworks has hurt Windows 11. From WhatsApp to Weather to the pre-installed video editor, everything is a web app running inside Edge or a Chromium container.
Open Task Manager and search for WebView -- you’re going to find many apps are web-based, including Outlook.
And this doesn’t even include the Electron apps in Windows 11.

English

@davepl1968 IMGUIs seem to be largely acceptable for games and other multimedia apps though they haven't gained much traction in other arenas.
English

There are now only two acceptable ways to build a user interface on Windows.
You can do it like the old Task Manager: You can call GetMessageW() in your message loop and handle every WIN32 message properly. This is the way for important things that must be performant.
Or, you can vibe-code your HTML/CSS and treat it like a black box, hope it works most of the time, etc. This is the way for large, complex interfaces.
I don't see any application that requires anything beyond these two approaches. The days of hand-coding interfaces in Electron are over.
Billy Hollis@billyhollis
How many years have I spent trying to make Microsoft see this? Creating native apps with WinUI is like swimming in a pool. Creating an interactive, immersive web app is like slogging through a swamp. It's no surprise that most web apps end up cutting corners.
English

@DenGobert @ItIsHoeMath True. A lot of people simply won't take this seriously until the hostages that have accumulated are rescued first. Once people know others have their back they will feel more free to act.
English

@ItIsHoeMath It's simply an organization problem. To do anything you need a leader who can rally the men and direct them.
If the men aren't seeking out such a leader, or if such a leader is not known to them they fail to act.
"I'll do this, go to jail and then others will do nothing."
English

because people are lazy, stupid, selfish cowards
If you accept it, then you have to act on it.
"We have to get rid of the parasites on our nation" = "I have to join a fight and risk getting hurt"
"We can vote for Trump and Vance to make it go away" = "I can sit here like a sack of shit and do nothing and still feel like a HECKIN GOOD PERSONERINO"
English

@ItIsHoeMath @Fat_Electrician Right, they love putting objectively inferior people in power.
English

@Fat_Electrician Wrong
Step One is evaluate who is objectively superior
English

@shipoopii69 @newstart_2024 You worked to create an economy that pays half as much as it used to and now you have no choice but to work. Also women ruined the workforce with HR karening. Good job.
English

@newstart_2024 Nothing in life is meant to be easy.
But at least a job pays.
That’s why I’d rather do that than be a housewife.
English

A 40-year-old working mom of two just said what a lot of women are quietly thinking after years in the corporate grind:
“I fell for it. Go to college, get the degree, you can have it all — career, kids, the whole thing.
I don’t want to do it all anymore.
I want to take my kids to school, pick them up, be there when they get home, chaperone field trips, volunteer, go to the gym, clean the house, do laundry, cook dinner… just be home.”
She’s blunt: “It’s not worth it. Don’t fall for that sh... Find a way to be with your family.”
It’s raw, honest, and hits different when you hear it from someone who’s lived both sides.
Moms (and dads) — have you ever reached that point where the “have it all” dream started feeling like a trap?
What would your ideal balance actually look like if money or societal pressure wasn’t part of the equation?

@TheThymesup @Kevin9012025 @SkanderbegChud @ItIsHoeMath @ChrisMartin1961 "You can't make it on your own", said the boomer, while living off trillions in unfunded liabilities.
English

@Kevin9012025 @SkanderbegChud @ItIsHoeMath @ChrisMartin1961 There's no arguing with a person that can't make it on their own and has to blame another generation for their total inadequacy.
English

@ItIsHoeMath These people are morons - they think monogamy is getting as many dicks as you want as long as you do it one-at-a-time. They believe that makes a difference.
Serial monogamy is polygamy in disguise.
English

This is a very low IQ take on the hypergamy chart. This is what I would call "level 4" thinking applied to statistics.
The thought process goes:
"there are people who are promiscuous and people who are not. The people who are not are the bigger group, so this chart is not true."
The correct thought process is:
"Every individual has a tendency towards being promiscuous from the least to the most. This probably manifests itself in a regular distribution or a standard bell curve. Therefore, as society becomes more allowing of promiscuous behavior, more and more people will behave according to this chart. Our measurements seem to suggest that most people still do not behave this way, but there is no way to account for the amount of lying that takes place on the surveys. So even though we cannot necessarily tell how much, we do know that people engage in this Behavior more and more as Society permits it more and more, and this behavior has second and third order effects which are also impossible to measure."
This person just said "group a bigger than Group B according to science expert therefore false" and thought it was a home run
𝖓𝖎𝖓𝖊 🕯@atlanticesque
Friendly reminder this isn’t really true. Most men and women are non-promiscuous, monogamous, and have sex primarily in the context of romantic relationships.
English

Bullshit. Check your fucking facts. Isreal hasn’t “started” fucking wars, they’ve defended themselves from Islamist thugs who rape and marry 9 year old girls, beat, stone, kill and cover women, scream death to Christians and Jews, refuse to coexist peacefully wherever they plant they lazy asses and breed like rabbits and live off govt welfare.
Sorry. You’re fucking wrong! Facts matter!
Wars considered NOT started by Israel
• 1948 war → began after Israel declared independence and Arab states invaded
• 1973 war (Yom Kippur) → Egypt & Syria launched a surprise attack
• 2006 Lebanon War → triggered by Hezbollah capturing Israeli soldiers
• 2023–present war → triggered by Hamas attack on Israe
English

@EO_Halloran @ItIsHoeMath You just admitted it yourself, they had the option to flee - they had a way out. There was hope. We don't even have that.
And it did pass, whereas in our case the dismal tide has been flowing in for many decades now with no end in sight.
English

@clapcommies @ItIsHoeMath 1 quarter of the population dying or fleeing in the space of 10 years is not something people thought "would pass" lmao
English

I see you can't make even one retort without lying, which is typical of paid subversives with 3rd world wives.
The conditions for Whites (especially White men) today are worse than the conditions that anyone has ever faced, anywhere, ever. You have not addressed this claim at all.
YOU are the one who insisted on playing the "black people are a special class of perma-victims" card. You did this because you are, as I have said already, a rat.
You repeatedly refuse to address the core of the discussion, which is the systematic disenfranchisement of White men from our own nations, wealth, territory, governments, and institutions, which is unambiguously a global genocide that we are forced to pay for while also being mocked and tortured and told that we have all the power and so we are to blame for our demise.
This has never happened to anyone else in history. Not in magnitude, not in severity, and not in absoluteness.
You refuse to address this with a reply of any substance because you know that you cannot refute it, so you instead fall back to lazy emotional appeals. "B-b-but BLACK people are victims! NOT YOU!"
Disgusting! Truly subhuman behavior, Chris.
Christopher F. Rufo ⚔️@christopherrufo
They're actually arguing that it would be better to be a slave in the 1800s than to live in America in the 1990s
English

@ItIsHoeMath @ailanyus I'd do it and feel completely unburdened by guilt.
English

@ailanyus Why do they need a squad? One guy could do it
