@MarkDavies115 @thegirlchlo_ If the journey went ahead and the person arrived at the destination later than scheduled, then yes, the DelayRepay would be appropriate here. However, the journey was cancelled therefore a refund should be offered or flexibility to board the next service.

@thegirlchlo_ If the TOC apps allowed split ticketing and was as cheap as Trainline, people would use them. People see Trainline as a way to save money, who wouldn’t want to in this day and age?

I left London at 19:30 yesterday and only just arrived back in Edinburgh at 9am morning. Our train (and several others) got stuck outside Grantham last night for over six hours because of a stand-off between a criminal and police on the line. I took some photos of tired travellers when we got to the station to document and pass the time. Hope they reach them. Thanks to @LNER and @LumoTravel staff for keeping it together on a long shift. 1/

@GriftReport As bad as it looks, these click in and out of place, they designed that way so if they do get vandalised/soiled… they can be taken out and replaced so they don’t have to take a full bus out of service.

@ElliotHarrow @brijoyce if you think that person spraying water for a few seconds is the reason for this big blaze, you must be stupid. Google what happens in a battery fire. Look at how it goes from small to major in minutes.

@brijoyce Glasgow destroyed in the name of diversity - is it true the owner of the vape shop legged it to Karachi... then an African tried to put out the fire with a water fire extinguisher which made things worse - it is I watched the video

The fire in Glasgow is now burning above the Blue Lagoon, the building on the right of it is the front of Glasgow Central Station and main entrance. All this lost for a fucking foreign vape shop.

@Dirty_Jack2026 You do understand that lithium batteries are lethal when they are ignited right? If you think about how many miniature batteries there would’ve been, and the. The batteries inside the more powerful vapes.. it’s very much possible.

First instinct on the Glasgow City Centre fire is that somethings don't sit right with me. Who leased or run the shop. Were licences and paperwork in order? How did the fire go from a contained unit to wiping out almost the entire corner building (lithium battery reason? No!)

@amszzy @JohnPaula67 Well, if you did, you’d know that Lithium batteries are extremely bad on their own. You heard multiple bangs before the person sprayed water inside. Keep your 5 pence piece of option to yourself. It’s irrelevant.

ℹ️ The Scottish Fire and Rescue service is still dealing with a fire in a building in Union Street next to Glasgow Central. Unfortunately this means the station will remain closed tomorrow morning, meaning no services in or out of Central. We’re sorry for the inconvenience we know this will cause our customers and we will provide updates as soon as possible.

@ScotRail Cheers Geoff. Why was it cancelled on the app when it wasn’t cancelled though, caused severe inconvenience and extra expense.
