@lyrasie @joolsd Good idea, if you get enough practice one day you will be good at it.

@LeBolshevikman It was a currency swap, I wouldnt expect a communist to know much about things like that though, your entire ideology is jewish but youre against Israel, odd.

AOC describing the American Revolution as part of the lineage of her political project is maybe the most profound victory anti-wokeness has or could ever see but of course rightoids are too braindead to even recognize that.

"Imperialism was historically progressive"

@piebyfour This post concentrates too much on the orientalist language, hence misses the forrest for the trees. It was historically proven that imperialism was actually historically progressive.

@Kholina54321 @anArrogantCruxo @N3weis But you and I are both communists. What do you think caused this? Was is the material conditions of production and our relation to them? Or do you think you independently invented communism in a vacuum?

@anArrogantCruxo @N3weis So what? Why couldn't people in feudalism have become communists, if they really wanted? Is there a magical barrier in the mind that says: Ah, you lack a machine, so, there's no way to plan production? It's just stupid. It tells you nothing. "What happened happened."

@climatestalin @KingSavageAxe The problem is you think pressing blue is the equivalent of running in a burning building and saving people. Pressing blue is actually running in to a burning building, sitting down, and hoping it all works out.

@34R0CKETS @KingSavageAxe The four billionth vote only matters of the other votes behind it. It's a very simple equation in order for everyone to survive half of everyone has to vote blue. If you take the risk free path you're part of what kills them.

@34R0CKETS @KingSavageAxe Any vote not for blue is a vote to potentially kill >50% of the population. The only reason not to is cowardice and a lack of care for other people. No way to math your way out of it.

@climatestalin @KingSavageAxe I do. But I’m 1 of 8 billion. This is my votes contribution. My vote doesn’t have any impact on what happens to you. Statistically my vote only affects me. If 10% is blue, and you press blue, you didnt save anyone, you killed yourself.

@TruthScarier @entropizzazz @SamAdlerBell Terminal market brain. How much does it cost to run a oil tanker over a blue whale? And who does the ship probably flagged in Panama pay this fine to?

@climatestalin @entropizzazz @SamAdlerBell If we chop down a forest today to make a million but lose out on 2 million due to a pollinator area being erased and a local river being heavily polluted that's a bad thing. Putting financial pressure on companies that hurt the environment for short term gain is good

@SamAdlerBell Yeah I mean I didn't even watch the video but this seemed obviously to be what she was saying, having price models incorporate limits to natural resources is like standard environmental economics.

@LilBunnyLO @JEBistline Nothing's significant in the grand scheme of things. 1200 years is a significant percentage of settled human civilisation.

This is my favorite climate change chart. Japanese monks, aristocrats, and emperors kept meticulous records of cherry blossom festivals for 1,200 years and accidentally built the world's longest climate dataset.
