A very efficient March. COP of 4.32. Meaning 1kWh of electricity generated 4.32kWh of heat. Used 327kWh to do this or 10.55kWh/d at cost of £2.15. Not bad for heating & h/w. I calc an 85% efficient gas boiler on 5.74p/kWh tariff would have cost £3.08/d 👍

@Vercovicium @juliandc He has literally just presented to you the fact that it’s producing 4-5x the heat that it consumes in electricity. Which is a mathematical impossibility with gas. What *you* are saying is clearly utter horseshit however …

Pilots drain a vial of jet fuel before flights to check for water. Any clear layer shows contamination that could threaten engine safety. 🛩️

@TheSolarShed On the dullest days, what does a good panel generate in terms of output rather than a cumulative total? I.e. does a 450w panel make 10-25w even when overcast / raining?
