The harm is not only on workers who produce such clothes but garment workers around the world, as now consumers wonder why shirts have to cost more than $5. You can't have an ethically made cut-and-sew shirt for $5. People here arguing otherwise are just muddying the waters.

@jinzohulai @cnickens What's the long term value of everything that a person could accomplish? I think infinite, because at some point it will come down to a choice between extinction and spreading life across the universe, and will likely be determined by acts of a few people.

There are two types of risks in business. Everyone focuses on the risk of losing what they've built, because it's so apparent. But there's an even bigger risk: the risk of not building what you're capable of building. This risk is unquantifiable, easy to ignore, and infinite.

@DaylenStoutin Good list! Addition: platform+bolt ons feels different than series of ~same-size acquisitions. Former being more friendly to self-funded. This exists on a gradient as to others on the list.
