Low thyroid numbers / symptoms could be caused by iron deficiency. More common in women. Get bloodwork. Check: Ferritin Iron saturation % Serum iron TIBC CBC Ferritin is the big one. Low ferritin plus low body temperature could = iron deficiency causing thyroid issues / symptoms.

@5HTskeptic how would you avoid its potential damaging effects? like i heard the amphetamines may increase serotonin etc or have neurotoxic effects

I like Vyvanse because of it’s gradual release mechanism, which makes it more tolerable for some people. Slower onset, fewer blood-level spikes, and a smoother come down. Only downside for me is that it’s longer lasting (>12hrs) and may affect sleep. Magnesium will help, I would also avoid any stimulating activities close to bed. e.g. scrolling on your phone or listening to loud music.

In this context, amphetamine-class stimulant medication could actually be beneficial. When used at an appropriate therapeutic dose, it may help reduce the likelihood of drug misuse later in life. "Stimulant treatment for ADHD appears to reduce the risk for substance use disorders by 50%" That said, I would always prioritize restoring proper brain energy balance through non-pharmacological methods first. This could include optimizing B vitamin intake, using caffeine, addressing thyroid function, or living a more stimulating life. It should already be clinical standard to emphasize nutritional and lifestyle interventions before moving to prescription medication, along with consistent monitoring of thyroid function. Always.

Meth is appealing to people who are chronically under-stimulated and over-stressed. For these people, it provides relief and functionality. But it’s a fine line between that and what you see in the image above. Usually it’s the “ADHD burnout” archetype that gravitates toward this drug. Recovery is difficult because there’s lasting damage that occurs and the contrast between meth life and sober life is extremely stark. Pregnenolone helps curb addiction, and unsurprisingly many people ~25 and up are deficient in it. Worth investigating chronically low tonic dopamine, low acetylcholine, and nutrient deficiencies. And accepting that life can’t be a meth high. We’re just not meant to feel that. Addressing every angle (environment, neurochemistry, nutrition, metabolism) is necessary to ensure one stays clean.

Dry food can age you. The body works harder to hydrate and move dry, dense foods. Skin, digestion, and thyroid often do better with softer, hydrated meals.

People will look at you like you are crazy when you say you inject pig brain extract but this is a pharmaceutical that is used to treat a wide variety of neurodegenerative diseases. It contains so many different compounds, expect cognition, mood, inflammation defenses, focus, energy, stress resilience, sleep quality, recovery and overall health to be enhanced as fuck.

Topical magnesium on the feet can feel nourishing because the feet are one of the most nerve-dense areas. In reflexology and Traditional Chinese Medicine, they hold a map of the whole body. Supporting the feet can create a ripple effect: calm the nervous system, improving circulation and increase deeper sleep.

The 20 minute power nap followed up with a coke or any enjoyable (typically non-alcoholic) beverage is a great overcomer of fatigue and lack of focus, throwing you into a refreshed state, ready for action Another tool in the box to generate energy

cycling on and off Meldonium quite literally shows u what life is like on a high metabolic rate skin looks better, fatigue doesn't exist, libido shoots up, your hair for some reason has more volume and feels stronger eyes are locked on the price one cycle and you realize more and more why u need to abide by the low PUFA, high carb diet and why bioenergetics will have the highest ROI in your life every time I get on it again after stopping for a while I realize more and more why this compound is just so insane. and also why it is WADA listed

2L of coke contains a whopping 350-415mg of phosphorus in the form of pure phosphoric acid This is equivalent to 50-60% of the RDI before you even factor in that its bioavailability is near 100% For reference you'd need to eat up to 1lb of steak to hit the same RDI with its 40-70% phosphorus bioavailability Treating coke as a health drink is a one way track to calcification and kidney disease via skewed Ca:P ratio There are far better sources of caffeine + sugar

coke a day, keeps the doctor away? a 82 yo diabetic women with severe abdominal pain, had not passed stools for a few days came to the hospital. CT scan shows a large fecaloma(dehydrated stool). - 2L of Coke is given - “resulting in a significant reduction in the size of the faceloma -“return of bowl function” Coke is effective treatment for constipation and dehydration, I personally aim for 1L a day.

A 9-year-old can't sit still in class and we're prescribing amphetamines before checking ferritin. Let that sit for a second. Ferritin below 30 ng/mL in children directly impairs dopamine receptor density in the prefrontal cortex. The exact region responsible for attention, impulse control, and task persistence. That's not ADHD. That's a nutritional deficiency presenting as a behavioral disorder. Nobody checked. > Iron-deficient kids show massive symptom overlap with ADHD diagnostic criteria > Correcting ferritin to 50+ resolves or significantly reduces symptoms in a substantial percentage — without medication > Most pediatricians never order ferritin. They run a CBC, see hemoglobin is "normal," and move on A $15 blood test versus a Schedule II controlled substance for a child whose brain is still developing. And when the medication "works," nobody asks why. It works because amphetamines force dopamine release regardless of iron status. You didn't fix the problem. You overrode the warning signal. What to actually do before accepting an ADHD diagnosis: > Order ferritin specifically (not just CBC). Target 50-80+ ng/mL in kids > If low — iron bisglycinate (dosed by weight, typically 1-2mg/kg) with vitamin C. Retest in 8-12 weeks > Check vitamin D. Deficiency impairs attention and mood regulation across all ages. Target 50-70 ng/mL > Check magnesium RBC (not serum). Magnesium is directly involved in dopamine regulation and calming NMDA receptor activity > Eliminate artificial food dyes and preservatives. The research on this is not subtle > Add omega-3s (EPA/DHA). The data on omega-3s and pediatric attention is some of the strongest in nutritional neuroscience > Stabilize blood sugar. Kids eating cereal and juice for breakfast then expected to focus for 6 hours is insanity That child's brain was asking for iron. You gave it speed. The kid isn't broken. The system that diagnosed him is. I go deeper into the neuroscience behind this on my Substack. Link in bio.
