Claude Opus 4.7 dropped yesterday and I've been testing it non-stop (usage permitting). I built an interactive growth dashboard that lets me dial in my assumptions assumptions for AI 4 Founders. I can update pricing, ad spend, churn, CAC, etc and watch the entire financial model update in real time. Easily one of my favorite things I've built with Claude. Check you my YouTube video and let me know what you're building with 4.7. youtu.be/gUpd2y4zesQ

My advice to young people: 1) don’t vape and stop smoking weed. It’ll crush your energy and ambition, your only two things you have going for you. 2) don’t become a doctor or a lawyer. You’re too likely to end up unhealthy, unhappy, divorced and rich. 3) entrepreneurship isn’t about new ideas. Don’t follow your passion. Do common things uncommonly well. 4) get married young and have more kids than you can afford. 5) life is sales. Learn to sell or don’t expect to earn real money. 6) start small. Trade your time for money. Passive income is a myth. 7) decision making is a muscle. The only way to get better is to lift the weight. Books aren’t the answer. 8) you get to choose your competition in life. Silicone valley is electing to play basketball against LeBron James. Sweaty startups are playing basketball against a 5th grade girl. The choice is yours. 9) look down the hall. What does it look like to win the game you are about to play? What does your boss look like? Are they happy? That is where you are headed.

@WSJ Long time coming. Going to be some incredible books written about the greed and entitlement of those who left the tour. The next few months are going to be very interesting to say the least.

@Joemac555 @MoonSetMan @WSJ Not sure where you are getting your numbers for Rory but thats a false number. Rory has made $180+ million just from the PGA tour alone, not including majors.

Well, I disagree that your life wouldn’t be materially different if you went from a quarter of a billion net worth to half a billion net worth. And I guess the financial aspect stop mattering when the individuals involved have as much money as they think they want. But we’re also still assuming he could have made $250m or anything close to it on the PGA Tour. I mean Rory’s been playing since 07 and he’s made $115m for his career. There’s no way to slice it that this wasn’t the best financial opportunity/decision the LIV guys made.

All I'm saying is at what point does the financial aspect of it no matter longer? I can't imagine your life is any materially different when you have $500 million dollars compared to when you have $250 million dollars. You have seen and heard Rahm since he left, he is very clearly miserable. That's not really debatable.

@code4scale @MoonSetMan @WSJ There’s no world where Jon Rham makes $450m on the PGA Tour, no matter how long he played. You can call it greed or selfishness but you can’t call it a bad financial decision for any of the players that left or their families.

Eh idk if I agree fully. There is absolutely something to be said about setting your family up for generations to come. But they would have done that anyway (or already had) on the PGA tour. Now they are pretty much screwed unless the Tour extends an olive branch. But the Tour has no reason to bring back 95% of LIV players. They are effectively worthless.

@code4scale @WSJ I doubt any of those big names that left the PGA Tour will ever really regret doing it. My understanding is all of them made so much money that they'll be laughing on their way to the bank for the rest of their career.

100% - there are absolutely a handful of players it made sense for. But for those like Bryson, Rahm, Niemann, Hatton, etc? Total disaster. They are all pretty much irrelevant at this point for 48 weeks of the year. And even in majors their performance has objectively sucked outside of Bryson winning the US Open.

@Leonidas_Cap @WSJ At what point is there diminishing returns on wages? Rahm made more then $75 million in on course earnings ALONE before he jumped ship. Now he has to spend the rest of his career with egg on his face and a massively tarnished reputation.

Was Kaden Wetjen a reach for PIT in the 4th Rd? Consider: * PIT ranked 21st in punt return avg last season, 29th in kick returns. * PIT has just one PR TD this decade, no KOR TDs. * Wetjen's PR avg in '25 was 26.8, #1 in FBS by far. * Has 6 return TDs the past two years.

@Alex_Kozora In your opinion, is it logical for the Steelers to promote Khan to President of Football (or something similar) and then promote Weidl to GM? Seems like it would be a pretty massive loss if Weidl ended up leaving. Which seems like only a matter of time at this rate.

Codex continues to outperform Claude Code for me. 5.5 was a really impressive step up in my eyes. The speed and efficiency in which it works has been great. Excited to share some of the projects I have been working on using this model.

🚨🫨📝 #STATEMENT — The State of Louisiana has issued a statement regarding the postponement of LIV Golf’s June event in New Orleans and begins by thanking the PGA TOUR for The Zurich. 😳 “First, we want to thank Zurich and PGA TOUR leadership for another outstanding tournament this past weekend. We are proud of the continued partnership and the opportunities this event brings to our state each year.” “Secretary Bourgeois spoke with LIV Golf CEO Scott O'Neil on Friday and was informed that the organization seeks to postpone its June 2026 event in New Orleans to explore a potential event this fall. The state has already paid $3.2 million in accordance with the contract….” “LIV is expected to return all state incentive funds, with the exception of the $2 million already invested in upgrades for City Park, ensuring those improvements remain in place for the community. We appreciate LIV's good-faith efforts and look forward to maintaining our partnership as we continue conversations around an event later this year….” “We are grateful for the work of our local partners and the collaboration that supported this effort. Louisiana continues to move forward with strong momentum and we remain focused on opportunities that deliver value for our communities.” ➡️ What do you make of this?

@ThePoniExpress Just could not be more off based when it comes to the optics. The Steelers themself have put multiple deadlines out into the public that have already been broken. Just an absolute joke of a process when you take into consideration the potential upside, which is extremely limited

McAfee's Steelers insider Mark Kaboly reacts to shocking Aaron Rodgers UFA tender. Here's the latest: -Nothing's changed. Status quo. -Optics are inaccurate. -Purely procedural. -Steelers believe he will sign before OTAs. -Expect to hear definitively in next couple of weeks.
