Prayer that finally revealed the true living God to me : “Lord Jesus, I’m tired of falling into sin. Grant me the wisdom to truly know you. Reveal to me why I stumble and don’t obey. How do I gain spiritual maturity? How do I get to purposefully know you?” Try yourself, and 👀

NEW: Nick Saban on claims that the Big Ten is the premier conference over the SEC👀 "I think the only reason people are talking about this is we dominated for so long, and we were so good, everybody makes a big deal out of being able to beat us. That doesn’t mean they’re better than us, and that doesn’t mean that just because you win the championship that you have a better conference. It just means you have one better team." @convictedcowboy @Apostolicunfl 💯 , people confuse preference and make that religious tradition and it has nothing to do with anything God said. What they are doing is actually way worse than what they are trying to whine about.

How can you attend this “church” and think “yea, this is how the awesome God of the Universe is supposed to be worshipped,”?

@realjohnleev @Thatbrian @Apostolicunfl I don’t think he even knows. He just is against that type of sound. Which is fine, but to call unbiblical or not sound scripture is insane. Hopefully this brother can get into his studies some more!

@JustW0W1 @convictedcowboy @Apostolicunfl You sound ridiculous! Its called excellence. Excellence is when you give your best. God deserves the best production value that we can do. How dare you allow the secular world recognize value and excellence but give God the bare minimum. U have a Cain spirit. Offer God the best.

Indeed! The Father wants to be praised! That’s it. I can see their points in making a case of, “they’re there for show and the concert rather than praising,” and that would be true if it were the case. But who are they to judge where these peoples heart posture is at? It’s funny to me they can make a judgement based on a video simply because they don’t like the loud music and sound.

@convictedcowboy @Apostolicunfl Well we know the answer is nowhere, this is a personal preference argument trying to make it a Pharisee like tradition of man.

@chuck_finney @Apostolicunfl 😂 man..I’m not sure how someone singing and praising God with music is considered an idol, especially since you’re in the position to know their heart posture based on a video right?

Well that has absolutely 0 to do with worship, and is talking about burnt offerings…but even then, let’s say it was about worship, do you still follow the Mosaic law? Are you taking to the alter a burnt offering anytime you sin? Make sure to keep up with ALL of the law if you are going to follow what Deuteronomy says! Are you forgetting what Jesus Christ stands for?

Therein lies the problem and the incoherence of sola scriptura. How do you decide which understanding, including your own, is correct? Protestants all claim to have the correct understanding and yet they disagree on very fundamental issues like infant baptism, assurance or loss of salvation and on and on. They all claim that what they teach is scriptural and who are you and your own personal interpretation to disagree?

Sola Scriptura does not mean pastors, theologians, church history, creeds, or tradition are unimportant. They can teach us, guide us, and help us understand the faith more clearly. It means none of them has authority above the Word of God. When a pastor, tradition, institution, or historical teaching contradicts Scripture, Scripture is what governs my faith and dictates how I live.

@DefiyantlyFree I had no idea what that meant prior this post, bc self-admittedly I was always too lazy to care to look it up, as I thought it was just another branch-off or sect of Christianity. Happy to know that I hold onto Sola Scrpitura faith though ❤️ it’s the only way!

@convictedcowboy @Apostolicunfl I submit you are not understanding those verses in context. Worship is to reflect the beauty, peace, and harmony of Heaven not the boisterousness of men who are at the center of attention.

@Thatbrian @Apostolicunfl Did you want to have that conversation? You can also go look at the plenty of responses I have already given to the ones that think like you as well if you prefer? What scripture do you have to show me that backs up your thought?

In John 4:23-24 Jesus tells us what acceptable worship is. Worshipping the Father in Spirit in truth. What is spirit and truth? Spirit is your soul, your heart, your entire being. Truth is knowing that Jesus is who He says He is. So to simplify it, Jesus is telling us that acceptable worship is to glorify the Father with all our hearts, souls, mind, beings. Which we can confirm with scripture in Matthew 22:37. So if we are worshipping the Father with our entire being, with the truth of knowing He sent Jesus as our savior, that is considered acceptable worship. If that’s not God enough for you though, this “boisterous worship” is still completely acceptable. How so? Ephesians 5:19 tells us to “be filled with the spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.” So if we are to address the church with psalms and spiritual singing, what does Psalm 150 tell us? I’ll let you go read that yourself. Where does the Bible tell us this isn’t acceptable type of worship? Bc scripture clearly states that this is nothing wrong. The Lord wants to be praised. You think the CREATOR of the universe doesn’t want His creation to be creative as well in the ways they worship and praise Him?

I don’t get offended at all! You’re not being harsh any. We are just discussing ❤️ I agree, I love Jesus so much more than anything else, we are on the same page! But how are you to say that these people aren’t worshipping with spirit and truth? Do you know what Jesus meant by spirit and truth? How are you able to discern that these people aren’t having that same reverence that you have when you worship the way you do? I’m genuinely curious…is it because you don’t worship that way, it makes you think anyone that does worship like this is wrong bc you can’t relate, is what you’re implying?

@convictedcowboy @Apostolicunfl I love Psalm 150🙌🏼I believe every word to be true & that it's highly appropriate for the elect to be so overjoyed that they dance before the Lord as David did. I do not think the video posted represents Psalm 150 at all. At least not as I've experienced it.🙏🏻 I'm willing to be

@S1011248077184 @Apostolicunfl I get what you’re saying, but show me in scripture where this is out of vain…are you just going to ignore that psalms 150 is mentioning this type of worship being worthy? Why would psalm 150 say to praise Him this way then, if it’s not worthy to God, and in vain?

@convictedcowboy @Apostolicunfl Friend I've studied this topic extensively & your interpretation of scripture above is different than mine. True worship is not self glorifying & doesn't look to the world for inspiration. There is a reason the puritans & reformers were so against these things. They are vain.🙏🏻

They’re not. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but these have no context regarding signing and worship. The scripture you provide with holy vs unholy…first out of context, this was speaking to priests that were not teaching correctly what is to be distinguished holy vs non. Where in scripture does it tell us that singing and dancing is not worthy of His praise? I know you can’t find that, but I can tell you in all Psalm 150, as well as psalm 100:2 that it’s completely worthy of this praise. The humility aspect…again, contextually, where is this leading to singing and dancing and praising Him showing arrogance? James is considered the NT proverbs by many, so in context, the scripture you provided is talking about humbling yourself before the Lord and resisting the devil. How does that correlate to singing and dancing being arrogant? The Micah scripture is talking about what should be considered to be pleasing to the lord. Show me in scripture where it says dancing and singing like this aren’t pleasing. Again, you can’t, but I can show you scripture where in contrast to your belief - it is totally worthy of His praise. Leviticus 19:30 - again, out of context. And even if not, where does it say reverence cannot be shown in this type of manner of singing and dancing? Did you not know that Daniel showed reverence to the Lord in this same way you are rebuking? 2 Samuel 6:14-15 Psalm 95:6 - that’s a great way to worship and praise Him, I agree that everyone should worship in this way. It’s clearly biblical! Did that say it’s the only way to worship and praise Him? Hebrews 12: what is acceptable worship? John 4: 22-23 , Jesus tells us exactly what is acceptable worship. Worshipping the father in spirit and truth. “Spirit” meaning your heart and soul and being, and “truth” meaning you believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. So reverence worship is what? Worshipping the father with all your heart and soul and doing it with the truth of who Jesus is. Proverbs 16:18 + James 4:6 - yet again, out of context. But even so, where in earth are you able to distinguish that these people are prideful? Are you the judge of their hearts and character? Galatians 1:8-9…this is talking about preaching the gospel, not worshipping… 2 Timothy: I’m beating a dead horse at this point…out of context once again. This is talking about false teachings. Which again, where in scripture does it say that singing and dancing this way is not sound scripture? You can’t show me, bc it’s not there, but I can show where it is acceptable. I’m not trying to come off snarky by any means as, but you have to read the scriptures contextually. None of the provided scripture says anything about signing and dancing and praising this way to be unworthy. Again, in contrast, the Bible tells us that it is acceptable. Ephesians 5:19 even tells us to address the church in psalms and hymnals…making melody with your heart, which aligns perfectly with what Jesus said in the provided scripture mentioned before in John 4:22-23. So if Jesus tells us to worship Him with all our heart, soul, mind…and Ephesians tells us to sing the psalms, and the psalms tell us that dancing and singing with loud music and praise is worthy of His praise, where is this not acceptable?

@convictedcowboy @Apostolicunfl Hi friend. Due to character limit I wasn't able to explain each verse so simply listed them but these are some of the verses that I believe most clearly show the biblical criteria for worship in contrast with the video above. 🙏🏻
