This dishonesty and hatred from the legacy media towards Elon for the past 20 years has been very painful for me, as his mother. In my new book, TIMELESS, that comes out in September, I write about it. Do journalists have no shame? Are they told to lie or they will be fired? Who is paying them? Feel free to vent in your comments.😖😖
C3@C_3C_3

Why they can’t be trusted? The Legacy Media’s NEGATIVE Coverage: RFK Jr: 94% JD Vance: 88% Elon Musk: 96% Kash Patel: 97% Kristi Noem: 87% Tulsi Gabbard: 98% Pete Hegseth: 100% President Trump: 92% So telling… The Legacy Media is the enemy of the people. Propagandists.

@LokiJulianus If China invaded Taiwan the US wouldn't do anything either. That's why they're paying to move their vital industries here.

If China invaded Taiwan, Europeans would say it wasn't their fight, shut down our overflights, and try to cut a deal with the PRC.

@Darkheyr @gerardtbaker Fine. Then I guess you'll be alright with America pulling every military installation out of the continent & force you to pay entirely for your own defense. Totally unrelated to you paying for your defense, but say "hi" to Vlad for us when he rolls into town.

You don’t get why trust matters. To ask allies to follow you into war requires a high level of confidence in your leadership. No one in Europe has that faith in Trump. They could all invade Iran one day and get hit the next with a 100% tariff because he didn’t like someone’s tweet
Clifford D. May@CliffordDMay

But we've not done that. On the contrary, we've so far focused on military targets. The Israelis have even hit Basij bases to prevent these thugs from killing more Iranian dissidents. I think prominent columnists such as you (and patriotic think tankers such as me) should be urging President Trump and his advisors to maintain that approach: to degrade as much as possible the regime's military capabilities, and whatever is left of its nuclear facilities. That would be an adequate outcome, more than any of Trump's predecessors has accomplished. But, of course, a better result -- not least for the U.S. -- would be for the clerical dictatorship to collapse and be replaced by decent leaders, friends of Americans, who would spend Iran's oil revenues in the future on improving conditions for the people of Iran rather than on Hamas, Hezbollah, the Shia militias of Iran, and the Houthi rebels of Yemen. (And no more drones for Putin.) I don't think that outcome is beyond reach if we just keep the main thing the main thing. Our allies could help. They certainly shouldn't hinder. I bet a dollar that Mark Rutte is telling them something along these lines.

@Celan_G @gerardtbaker Spare me with how much you care for those "10s of thousands". Trump himself hasn't even bothered to pretend this war is about freeing anybody.

@gerardtbaker Please. Allowing the US to use their airspace and our own bases to attack an Islamofascist regime killing 10s of thousands of people doesn't require a great commitment, and doesn't necessitate getting up in one's feels.

It amazes me that people do not listen to what others are saying. @PeteHegseth has only said this entire time that we have way too many generals that contribute to the bureaucracy of the military. It dilutes the value of earning the title of a General. The firing of the Generals have nothing to do with the Iran war.

Pete Hegseth fired the Army chief of chaplains, the first time this has ever happened. Hegseth wants ALL religious exemptions to be denied. Hegseth demanded all Conscientious objector and religious exemption packets denied and the general said no. I believe now more than ever that America is going to invade Iran and was getting far too many “conscientious objectors” who do not want to die in a pointless and unpopular war fought for Israel. Hegseth has fired or removed a dozen generals or admirals now. He fired Gen. Randy George, the Army’s chief of staff and on the same day, he removed Army Maj. Gen. William Green, who had served in that post since 2023. This is going to be a disaster.

This should be the scariest video any elected official has ever seen. We cite Wall Street bonuses as proof that New York’s economy is thriving, but the CEO of the largest private employer in the city is publicly admitting his headcount here is shrinking while he grows in Texas. The tax base we’re counting on is quietly walking out the door. Instead of pro-growth policy that attracts new investment, our electeds keep fishing from the same shrinking pond and then act surprised when the catch gets smaller every year. If we don’t change course, keep increasing our bills … there will be almost no one left to pay it.
The Hill & Valley Forum@HillValleyForum

"Our head count in Manhattan when I got to JPMorgan was 35,000 and now is 26,000. Our head count in Texas started at 11,000, now it's 33,000. That's what happens." Jamie Dimon on why companies are leaving New York: "Highest individual taxes, highest estate taxes, highest corporate taxes, anti-business sentiment." "When I grew up as a kid in New York City, there were 120 of the Fortune 500 headquarters there. In the 1970s, 60 of the 120 left, including Exxon, GE, IBM, Union Carbide. They're all going to Texas." The Hill & Valley Forum 2026 @HillValleyForum @jpmorgan @ChairmanG

Most flawed component of Mets process? Disregarded luxury tax implications of high AAV deals to avoid long term commitments. Instead? Paid Bichette & Polanco a combined $62M per season. I’d rather have Pete Alonso at $30M than those 2 dopes at $62M. #Analytics

@Ourlads_Sy Drafting OL at 5 feels like ordering a salad at a steakhouse. You’ll probably be glad you did it. Very responsible. Makes sense. But deep down you know you passed on the thing you actually wanted.

NYG drafting any of the OL at #5 (Fano, Ioane, Mauigoa) is stepping into the batter's box and hoping for a single or double. Get the inning going, potentially set up others for success. NYG drafting Love, Styles, Bain, Downs, or Tate is stepping into the batter's box and swinging for the fence. Home run with a triple being the Plan B. Going for the single or double is the safe play, going for the triple/homerun is the one that can alter the trajectory of the franchise but it could fall harder if it doesn't pan out. Which route they take will be fascinating to watch. (with a trade down still being the preference if a buyer exists)
