Important work showing Mimblewimble's privacy is very limited. I've been saying decoy based systems don't work for years. @IvanBoden worked out a concrete attack on Grin and implemented it. For $60 a week, you can, in real time, monitor who is paying who for 96% of Grin TXs.

i’ve studied the bitcoin source code and profited handsomely from bitcoin along the way during this decade. inevitably that leads to a period of worshipping the coin.. but eventually that dries up when innovation halts. turing complete on-chain code doesn’t halt innovation.

Everyone wants a slice of your pie, you never know if someone is interested in you or your money, some people will vilify you for your wealth, socialists may try to take it, frivolous lawsuits may appear, anonymity may be lost. Being rich doesn't make you happy :) It may shield you from some pain, but it doesn't shield you from all of it (as much as we wish that was different) The sooner we realize this, the sooner we will have peace. For some, this might take getting rich & finding out for themselves

@justinkan Right, my point being that you won't have the tiniest sweat when your personal assistant will inform you that your out of pocket bill is due soon... Anyhow, I'm just tired of the "being rich doesn't make you happy" rethoric. But of course, I wish you a speedy recovery!

The only interesting thing about Libra is facebook's userbase. @open_libra is simply a marketing gimmick designed to transfer wealth from retail investors to insiders. (see the fraudsters associated with them).

Religion is a virus. If you believe in any religion, I consider you insane and an enemy of rational thought. God/Buddha/Jesus/Allah/etc... don't *actually* exist, just shared narratives -- soon they will be myths just like the Greek Pantheon.
