@armaniferrante when token is undervalued i strongly disagree. some of the best CEOs did big share repurchases when they felt the market was valuing the business below intrinsic value. Shouldn't be a set mechanism, should be opportunistic.

Buy and burn is the stupidest token mechanism I can imagine. You're admitting that you've run out of good ideas. You have no ability to generate ROIC. And that you have nothing better to use the money for. Don't buy and burn. Re-invest and grow until you can grow no more.

People love to bring up that Solana only has 10% of Ethereum’s TVL This isn’t the dunk you think it is. Solana has managed to flip Ethereum volume and fees with 1/10th of the TVL Before you say what about L2s, they are separate ledgers with their own tokens and investors.

@daliallamar @SolanaLegend LOL, you know I've always struggled with that exact thing. ETH's market cap is in part because of its inefficiency. SOL is better tech by a mile, but that just means it can do far more with less. Note: I hold six $ figures of SOL and zero ETH. Fudding my own bags here. 😅

This is the conclusion from past month’s performance and cannot be indicative of future performance as team’s continuously work to make things better. And you are not highlighting how the LP tokens performed vastly during the beginning 5 months giving huge returns to LPs. The volumes both projects served are one of the highest in the industry given how new they were and teams work day & night to make things easier and more profitable so it kind of undermines those efforts when you take conclusion from just 2 month’s performance. And these are all decentralised and permissionless protocols so users can choose where they invest or trade.

If you are a pool based perp protocol and you are underperforming your weighted basket of assets constantly even included your trading fee and liquidations, then you are a victim of toxic flows and are doing a huge disservice to your LPs. Both @JupiterExchange and @flashtrade have been vastly underperforming their index with Flash mainly losing a lot of value for their LPs. Huge volumes through your protocol vs the liquidity are your first signal. It could be that your oracles are updating slower and bots are wreaking havoc or mainly MMs use your pools, for whatever reason, you are losing value for your LPs. Advertising strong volumes while these are purely extractive from your pools is a false narrative. Display real performance wrt index instead of vs USD high numbers that are basically fake while the pools get extracted from. This would at least help us take measured steps to save our capital.

Like the Flash guys and no slippage positions, but stuck in a classic dilemma of chicken and egg. Not much liquidity to take decent positions and not enough positions to incentivize utilization and APY to attract liquidity. Maybe they need to start a short dated points program to kickstart one to bring another.
