My favourite part about train barriers is when you’re in a huge queue and then the person in front gets to the barrier and is shocked they have to present their ticket.

If you go back to Africa, you go back to the original purpose of Bitcoin. Not speculation or charts, not chasing yield, the real reason it was created. Out here, Bitcoin isn’t a trading strategy. It’s a tool for freedom and survival. It’s access. It’s protection from broken systems. We’re making Bitcoin real again. Before we talk about BTC yield, we talk about human yield, what it actually does for people’s lives. Does it give someone access to money they didn’t have before? Does it let them move value without permission? Does it create opportunity where the system failed them? That’s the metric that matters. Because if Bitcoin doesn’t improve human lives first, the numbers on a screen don’t mean much.

Flowers and hand-written cards? Lovely. 💌 Desserts and skincare? Perfect. 🍡 But the best International Women's Day gift? Just back more women. Fund us. Promote our ideas. Mention our names. Support our leadership! When you do, phenomenal things can happen. 🪄

Would be curious to see how many vibe coded projects found PMF and broke out of their respective bubbles. Well positioned marketing and growth hacking are still skills that are high in demand to position projects for success

It’s very hard to be taken professionally as a lawyer when your paralegal needs to be the center of attention on all video calls.

Non-crypto post I've had a brutal month personally. I've lost two people who I was extremely close to. One friend to suicide and my uncle to what appears to be a heart attack out of nowhere ,and had a few other medical challenges some will be aware of. My diabetes serves as a daily reminder to me of 'memento mori'. This past month was more of a slap in the face about it. I was sitting outside in my garden this morning having a coffee and feeling the sun on my face, thinking. I just want to remind people how temporary and fragile this all this. We all take life for granted at different times, some more-so than others. It really can be gone in an instant. I'm so thankful for the moments I had with these people, the times we both made efforts to pick up the phone, to meet in person, to tell them the nice thing you are thinking. Something I feel proud of with both of them is they knew how much I loved them, we spoke about real things and I can sit here now and not have regrets there. My uncle was a huge inspiration to me, first person in my family to go to university, Irish immigrant family, gets into Cambridge, graduates with a 1st in Law, becomes Managing Partner of Clyde & Co APAC. Married and has 4 children. Got to live in HK and Singapore, travel the world. He helped the younger generations coming up, mentored and helped extensively. In later life he was working with new firms using technology. His ability to be curious and to always learn/be open to new ways of doing things always amazed me. He absolutely filled his life to the brim with rich experiences. He died way too young, but man he lived. You can't capture a life in a paragraph or two, not even in a book. Do meaningful things, pack your life with stuff, explore, think, read, write. Just do things. Might be the internet cliche of the year but it's not wrong.
