There won't be another Salesforce or Atlassian. Agents are probabilistic. You can't trust them to rebuild your CRM/system of record/financial infrastructure every single time. Why would you burn tokens rebuilding baseline products for every task when you could just call a deterministic API? Plus when we sell on-prem to enterprises, they require $10-20M insurance. The system providing data must be liable for that data being correct. You can't get that coverage if you're just using Claude Code to build some shit out. Revisit this in 2029 and you'll find: - headless CRMs, Stripe equivalents, and systems of record still exist - agents interact through APIs - humans log in to verify and audit - the UI layer is secondary but still remains Maybe existing players would make way for new companies built solely for the agent economy. But SaaS as we know it, ain't dying anytime soon. If stocks are in free fall right now, I'd say that's a rather good buy.

@joaofernandeszk Because local banks in the area have been ripping people off for decades and have very poor digital experiences. Low bar to beat the competition

Revolut growth in Iberia has to be studied. It's the 2nd largest bank in Portugal, introduced massive Portuguese-only features, Portuguese IBAN, etc. In Spain is also dominating and penetrating. Revolut might be the future of banks.
Max Karpis@maxkarpis

With 6M customers in Spain, Revolut has 13% penetration, 25% of all financial app downloads and 70% organic growth. The company has seen 4x growth in deposits to €2.14 billion, 84% growth in investments and 66% in investing customers in 2025. The paradigm of people keeping money in bank accounts is changing. This is a clear indication that the customers trust Revolut to manage their personal finances on a daily basis, says Ignacio Zunzunegui, Revolut's Head of Growth for Southern Europe & LATAM. With digitally savvy customers, the adoption of the Spanish IBAN and the integration of Bizum marked a turning point in Spain, allowing Revolut to compete head-to-head as a primary account, he said. In the next 5-10 years, the distinction between traditional banks and fintech greatly diminish, or even disappear entirely. Ultimately, scale will be the deciding factor. Only platforms that can operate globally with an extremely lean cost structure will survive and continue innovating at the speed the market demands. Revolut believes the natural evolution of banking is towards a subscription model. Furthermore, it will be a sector where artificial intelligence is not just an assistant, but an agent that autonomously and personally optimises finances. "We want to be for banking what Apple was for mobile phones." Source: finedmagazine.com/entrevista-ign…

@xeozor21 @CraigEdward_ @Ryanair This passport control chaos happens in Lisbon all the time and even full service carriers like BA will leave people behind if you’re not at the gate before the closing time. I believe Ryanair rule (and on boarding pass) is gate closes 30 minutes before departure.

@CraigEdward_ Took 1h queue at non-EU pass control due to slow handling. No L Call for Tirana flight scheduled on time at 14:20. Arrived at 14:00 at the gate 26 (while app had gate 14, but w/a). Gate closed, boarding denied to 40 people. Plane waited +30 min for luggage unload. @Ryanair logic

Stupid @Ryanair and @budairport did not let 40+ people in at flight FR6887 to Tirana, closed gate and denied boarding, while the aircraft was still there, unloaded luggage and said gtfo, refused to give official paper on boarding refusal. Not much hopes, but now gonna chase ‘em

🌟 Portugal just won “Economy of the Year 2025” according to The Economist! 🇵🇹 For the first time ever, Portugal tops the magazine’s annual ranking of the 36 largest advanced economies, overtaking last year’s winner (Spain) and leaving powerhouses like the US, Germany or Japan far behind. What made the difference? ✅ Stronger-than-expected GDP growth (projected 1.9–2.3 %, well above the eurozone average) ✅ One of the lowest inflation rates in Europe ✅ A soaring stock market (PSI-20 among the best performers globally in 2025) ✅ Record tourism numbers and foreign investment ✅ Attractive tax regimes pulling in high-net-worth individuals and digital nomads In the words of The Economist: “Portugal combined solid growth with tame prices and a buoyant stock market better than any other rich country.” From the country that was bailed out little more than a decade ago to the best-performing advanced economy of 2025! 🎉

Airport drop-off fees. Until now, London City has been an outlier among UK airports in not charging drivers to drop off passengers at the terminal. But that will change by the end of 2025. LCY says it wants to cut congestion and boost public transport use. independent.co.uk/travel/news-an…

I am convinced @barclays decided to make the most customer unfriendly bank in world. Whoever decided this device is a thing in 2025 AND to ship without batteries, with a screw no standard screwdriver can undo, really outdid themselves. At least it’s secure because I can’t use it

@CTissier99 @ci_aviation It’s so ironic that the Embraer was sold and now almost every weekend I see one is being wet leaded from Titan (Titan must be very happy with investing in this).

@ci_aviation How long can we put up with the current management and board? STSB must act. Also, why did those incompetents sell the Embraer to wet lease an Embraer!

Likely for similar reasons today, Aurigny have been using the Dornier on the Guernsey - Southampton flight. However due to the smaller capacity, 3 flight will operate each way as GR654/655, GR656/657 and GR658/659. Titan is also operating some Gatwick flights. #guernsey #aviation

Due to crewing shortages, Aurigny are using the Dornier to fly its Leeds flight today. However due to its smaller capacity some passengers have been moved to the GR678/679 MAN flight which will be operated by Titan Airways’ E190. #aviation #travel #guernsey #aurigny

Good if stern/tense meeting with Mayor of Lisbon. He can’t fix the majority of issues we face in Portugal but he listened and promised to help setup follow up meetings with the new government’s officials who hopefully can. I believe it is fair to say he was aghast at some of the stories I shared about our team’s experience. There has always been lots of talk and promises, not much action. I’ll save my optimism until I see action.

Exit immigration line at the Lisbon airport this morning stretches nearly to the taxi pickup at the front door of the terminal. All the new electronic gates are “broken” after sitting in shrink wrap for months.
