I just rewatched WWE RAW and noticed that Oba Femi had a tear in his eye after hearing the enormous pop from the crowd when he took out Brock Lesnar in the ring. Also, Lesnar wanted to smile because of how proud he was of the segment, but as always, he did an excellent job hiding his emotions on the screen. Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi was always going to be a gold mine. I am so glad WWE has booked this rivalry for WrestleMania 42.

If you assume Chelsea are actually trying to be a commercial entity with a focus on player trading… then their only investments being sold for ~€35m profit in Madueke, Veiga and Petrovic is very worrying, especially when you consider they have crystallised bigger investment losses in Nkunku, Felix and Dewsbury-Hall. Almost all the profit they have generated through player trading to date has been from raiding Cobham. Given they’d take a bath on Fofana, Mudryk, Sterling, Lavia, Neto or Gittens… they either continue to sell Cobham grads (Acheampong to us next hopefully) or they sell acquired players that Chelsea fans probably don’t want to be sold (like Enzo). Otherwise, they’re generating zero profit in a space they’re supposed to be dominating.

This is so, so brain dead. Something is horribly wrong if you deem that a manager is good in 2025 and then change your mind in 2026 because results in games. Unless, of course, the manager is discovered to have an advanced case of Alzheimer or similar. It’s the same manager.

Situation inside United then from everything I have read: Wilcox originally said no to Amorim. Ashworth also said no, but Berrada forced it through. Wilcox raised concerns in summer 2024, before Ten Hag was sacked, about Amorim and his three at the back system needing a lot of investment which Berrada ignored. Amorim is giving Maresca energy. He’s not happy with INEOS, has clearly fallen out with the higher-ups and wants more power. Even though he was brought in as a head coach, he’s now demanding to be manager (or INEOS have lied to him). Something tells me Ratcliffe and Berrada promised Amorim this and that, but Wilcox doesn’t rate Amorim or his system, hence the rumours he’s pushing him to change to a back four... which Amorim does not like. Amorim has clearly felt he has lost power/ backing and is being told to do something else. I’m assuming Wilcox wants a change, doesn’t want to invest further in Amorim, and Amorim knows this... hence how he behaved in presser. Amorim basically said in his presser that to make his system work he needs time and money, which he isn’t going to get.. so now he has to adapt. Says it all. My thoughts is Wilcox has told Amorim adapt to play this way or your sacked. Massive mess from top to bottom. Amorim's form is sackable but INEOS are the ones that messed up and will do everything to shift blame onto Amorim. I worry for the next manager!
