@blockchainfatty @BradMunchen I don’t know how long you’ve been around for, but this has been going on for six years. Elon observes the market promises that we’ll be doing that too and then never delivers, not late, never. CT cost both money and time. Semi same thing. FSD net of Nvidia chips probably lost $

@dartmonkeytrdg @BradMunchen Tesla valuation is way more than cars & batteries for sure. It’s hard for many investors to get around the current fundamentals, but everything is moving beyond it & they are scaling to bring it to life. Acting like it isn’t going to happen is pure ignorance. Successful? TBD.

@BogartBoomer @BradMunchen Cheaper now. Likely a lot cheaperby May Could retest 360 but the relative weakness argues against that. @dartmonkeytrdg I know why... b/c I cover the solar sector, thus talk to on-the-ground folks daily. Many, in the solar industry, know why. And, it's NOT a 1-qtr blip.

What many are missing on $TSLA is the collapse in its Energy Storage Biz. That is, at 8.8GWh in Q1, it's down -38% q/q & -15% y/y (first ever y/y fall) or the lowest since 3Q24; & this appears structural - i.e., due to “backyard solar” formats beginning to displace Powerwalls.

@alex_avoigt Or if you were to remove your Tesla Propaganda Brain Implant, you may come to the obvious conclusion that at that this price most of the interested customers have already adopted it… meaning it’s not as good as you think it is, and quite obviously not ready for RoboTaxi

@smdcapital The “slowly than all at once” narrative refers to Tesla Bulls realizing they’re in a dead end stock. Each bear market rally will trap more bulls. The TSLAQ bunch were never fundamentally wrong, just technically extremely wrong. At some point you can’t pump a bad business

TSLA is now down 160 points from the recent highs. But don’t worry everyone. I’m told to be thankful because the future is bright. By 2036 we will all be so rich that this little dip will be something we laugh about over dinner. Just keep adding shares with all that spare cash you have. And from when you timed the top and sold over 450, perfect — use those proceeds to buy even more on the way down. If you don’t have spare cash lying around, well… you’re a bum. Get back to work and buy more $TSLA. That’s what I keep hearing.

14/14 The TSLA gamma operator is gone. Capital rotated to @SpaceX. The synthetic bid that supported the stock for 12+ months has structurally unwound. IV is mispriced into earnings. The 0.72x OI level is your line in the sand. The smart $ appears to have found a better game.🎯

Jeff Bezos explains why he didn’t take additional equity building Amazon Jeff is asked why he only paid himself $80,000 per year and never took additional equity during his tenure as CEO of Amazon. He responds: “I asked the comp committee of the board not to give me any comp. My view was I was a founder. I already owned a significant amount of the company, and I just didn’t feel good about taking more. I felt I had plenty of incentive. I owned more than 10% of the company, and earlier — before it was diluted by various things — more than 20% of the company. I just felt how could I possibly need more incentive?” Jeff continues: “Most founders own big chunks of the company. They’re more like owner-operators. The way they increase their wealth is not by getting more equity. They just want to make the equity they have more valuable. And so I just would have felt icky about it. And I’m actually very proud of that decision.” Jeff is especially proud of how much wealth he’s created for other people: “Somebody needs to make a list where they rank people by how much wealth they’ve created for other people — instead of the Forbes list where it ranks you by your own wealth. Amazon’s market cap is $2.3 trillion today. I own about $200 billion-ish of it. So if you take $2.3 trillion and subtract out the piece I kept for myself, then I’ve created something like $2.1 trillion of wealth for other people. That should put me pretty high on some kind of list. And that’s a better list — how much wealth have you created for other people?” Video source: @nytimesevents (2024)

A brain surgeon who went to school for over a decade and touches people's brains daily will say something about the brain, and then some rando who got famous on Instagram will go on Joe Rogan and say "actually that's not true because XYZ." The masses will believe the Joe Rogan guest over the brain surgeon, and that's basically why society is failing. So thanks Joe

@external_idea @blockchainfatty @NicholasDClay @TeslaXplored Same mantra year after year. 0 Robotaxi competitors use camera only. What’s more likely? @blockchainfatty @NicholasDClay @TeslaXplored The inconvenience is the cost. You might not believe this but stock prices always (eventually) reflect earnings. Very slow sell off so far, wait until earnings CC when faithful start questioning their beliefs. Or keep buying. Just bot calls for a bounce myself, very ST trade

@NicholasDClay @TeslaXplored Exactly what inconvenience does a person sitting a passenger watching a car drive seat cause? A same service Waymo did for years and still does remotely. Robotaxi is now over 550 cars and hiring for rapid expansion. Waymo has scaled 3000 cars in 20yrs of business.

@KookCapitalLLC …or it’s all BS, and old and new Musk fans keep believing the same lies of dominating new industries when they don’t have first mover advantage. TsLA has succeeded twice - EVs and Utility scale backup batteries. Both times, first to market - well done. The rest - all failures

tesla is the easiest bet on long term growth that exists today > physical ai / robotics = largest tam in history > $tsla will dominate robotics w optimus > terafab will revolutionize chip design + manufacturing > autonomous driving will reshape global transportation > data centres in space solves energy scaling its so simple yet so few see it on top of everything above, its likely that space x buys $tsla at some point following the ipo imo that likely happens in 2027 which will be after the initial cybercab and robotaxi ramp, thus after a re-rating of $tsla stock 1. robotaxi ramp 2. $tsla up 3. space x buys for a premium (40%???) 4. elon conglomerate becomes $x imo hard to lose if you dca $tsla ultimately you will be able to hold $x for decades it will be the new berkshire hathaway for the 21st century all elon companies that exist now and in the future will roll into it even the haters will read this post and know everything im saying will happen so whats the bear case?????? there isnt one, just timeframe patience wins here weekly chart below for reference $tsla

@RealJimChanos Sadly (for The Faithful) 20-25 cents annual EPS will be significant this year. After price cuts, cost rises, ZEV disappearance, GHG elimination and any remaining global carbon credits becoming nearly worthless, core business could be around breakeven. FCF… much worse.

(2) Accordingly, annual FSD revenues are probably running at $1.3B to $1.4B right now, or about 1.5% of Tesla total revenues. The annual EPS from FSD software is probably 20-25 cents per share. Not material after ten years. $TSLA

Tesla annual global car sales have plateaued at below 2% market share, with FSD adoption a fraction of that. After ten years. As the other automotive OEM’s catch-up w/their own autonomous platforms. $TSLA
Whole Mars Catalog@wholemars

Tesla needs to continue to evolve their Self-Driving pricing model to increase adoption. With a product this good, sales should be going vertical. It's time to ask some hard questions about what's not working. What do you all think?

Tesla Self-Driving sucks and doesn't work. This compressed video shows 90 minutes of Tesla's V14.2.2.5 moving through the heart of Philadelphia, and back to the suburbs for some errands. As you watch this clip, you'll start to realize that Tesla's goal of autonomy at-scale is very far from here, and probably won't ever actually happen. The entire charade is nonsense. Tesla cars have level 2 ADAS just like SuperCruise and BlueCruise. Yes, your Chevy Silverado does do this. More music by the homie @StainlessOne

🧵 THREAD: What truly sucks about being a $TSLA skeptic/bear is that you can spend literally hundreds of hrs building detailed delivery models, triangulating regional registration data, parsing supplier checks, & modeling qtrly earnings — get the fundamental call exactly right — & watch the stock drop 5-10% on the print. Victory, right? Hold that thought. (1/16)
