Don’t really get the goal of attempting to move PG and Embiid’s contracts right now. If you’re trying to win, they were both good this year. If you’re trying to rebuild, they likely have negative trade value or (at best) won’t bring back meaningful draft assets

He's been a GM for 20 years, went below .500 once, built multiple conference finalists in Houston without tanking, drafted Maxey at 21, got Philly VJ. He doesn't have a ring. He certainly has blind spots. It's not binary. You're not great or trash. He's done more good than bad.

Ultimately the results were not good enough. It seems like a fair move. I think also Morey inherited a complicated situation and I agreed with many of the larger moves. I am not sure there was a GM who comes up with a substantially different result. It just didn't work, obviously. That's the gig. Will be a challenging situation for whoever they hire.
