I've liked what the #Canucks have done today. Getting a 1st for Marcus Pettersson is great even if it is 4 yrs away. Schenn will be a great replacement mentor & won't block DPetey/Mancini. Cotter brings speed & physicality which they need & he could fetch something next deadline.

Hronek is the only current player that’s going to fetch a real return and he doesn’t fit the timeline.

As a longtime Trae Young critic/skeptic, I just want to say that Young has gone from overrated to underrated.
Did the Wizards overpay? Sure. But worst contract in the NBA? No way. Joel Embiid, De'Aaron Fox, and Christian Braun definitely have worse contracts.
Trae is still an excellent passer and with some tweaks to his usage he could become a far more efficient scorer. Just need more shots off the catch and less wild jumpers off the dribble. It really is simple. Washington has AJ Dybantsa, Anthony Davis, Tre Johnson, Alex Sarr, and a whole bunch of talented young ball handlers, so I can't see any way how Trae dominates the ball nearly as much as he did in Atlanta.
It's possible that at age 28 next season, we could even seen the best version ever of Trae.
