(1/) Because of the decreasing attention med schools across the country are paying to anatomy education (less time etc.), I wanted to write a #tweetorial for #MedTwitter and #AcademicTwitter detailing the importance of anatomy from both sides (student and teacher).

@askUHC I have been through this before. They offer nothing. I have the benefit of knowing the system. What I want is for you to do better for all patients and reduce burdens and barriers to care. I'm tired of insurances playing physician.

Another new job, another fight to get a medicine I have been on for years. #Priorauthorization is a scam and it is getting in between your doctor, you, and your care. @UHC you know what you are doing to patients.

When my doc's office talked directly to the insurance, it was finally approved. But before I pressed, they had given up. It was clear this process had exhausted them and I was told my story was one of many recently affected by prior authorization.

Turns out, @united closed my case without my permission, and I have to start over. They do not have a customer service department you can speak to only by phone. AND after an hour on the phone, they "accidentally" hung up on me. Unacceptable.

About a month ago during a hurricane, @united delayed me for 5 days. I understand that weather is uncontrollable, but each and every one of my friends who were with me on that trip got out next day. I was offered FIVE DAYS later. As a resident, that isn't an option for me.

@united Issue is still non-resolved, and I have been told there are no supervisors today. Strange to not have supervisors on during the day most people are off to resolve these issues.

I've flown @united so much this year for conference trips. I've loved their reliability and customer service until now. I hope they can make this right, because 3.5k points isn't cutting it for the stress and financial burden.

Agents at the desk said @united would be able to compensate me after the fact. They have not. The delay was ridiculous. I understand no control for 24-48 hours. A FIVE DAY DELAY including canceling us 2 hours before the flight after assuring us we would fly and to return our car.
