Amongst various measuring tools, I like the DEXA scan for the objectivity it brings. Have done it thrice since 2021. Not just how much fat — but where it lives, what's muscle, what's bone, what's changing.
From 2021 to 2024, the body fat hardly moved from ~23%. Today its 12.5 %
The visceral fat is another important parameter. It's the fat wrapped around your organs. The fat that drives heart disease, diabetes, inflammation, and metabolic dysfunction. Lower the better.
Nothing is permanent, but data like this gives us an idea of what areas we need to work around!
