Every time you see a biz on bizbuysell, remember who already decided not to buy it: 1. The broker 2. The professional service providers 3. The employees 4. Competitors already in the sector, with access to financing If you can’t figure out why those people said no, you’re the sucker.

@amasad @garrytan @amasad going beyond, perhaps is a larger structural issue (and not administrative). In Canada took me 3 years to get a work permit, 5 PR and 10 citizenship. This year I've heard already of at least 5 people proudly saying they got a refugee status by simply lying.

Have any lawyers done pricing by speed? I can see scenarios where I would do both extremes: $7,000 to have this operating agreement to you by tomorrow $3,500 standard price $1,500 for some time within the next 30 days I love variable pricing. What else should have it?

One of the trickiest people management challenges is the teammate who works harder, not smarter. Their unimpeachable work ethic and desire to help makes it tough to coach them up or out. Find a role for them where grit is key, but is not on your critical path to scale.

@marceloclaure @marceloclaure I agree with this one 100% if someone ever complains about their "luck". The good news is that there are a lot of hard working young people that understand that it takes hard work and make choices to achieve certain sucess. We have several examples in our team.

It bothers me when I hear young employees talk about work/life balance at an early stage of their lives. Work your butt off at the beginning, make money, save it and then later in life aim for work/life balance as you will need it with kids and partners etc. this is my POV

I’m way more competitive now than when I was younger - it took me until I was an adult to realize winning is just focus + putting the work in, and most people don’t *really* want to put the work in
