For 53 yrs the Freedom Pass has been part of London life, supporting older & disabled Londoners who’ve paid in all their lives. In Redbridge, Labour is clear: no cuts, no restrictions, no erosion of hard-earned rights. This lovely couple told me how vital it is to their lives ❤️

Yesterday, I was honoured to join with local leaders and faith communities from across Redbridge to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day in Valentines Park in Ilford. Our community came together to remember six million murdered Jews, other victims of Nazi atrocities and those who have lost their lives in subsequent genocides. We will remember them. 🙏

Huge thanks to the brave @LondonFire fighters tackling the large blaze on @CoLEppingForest Wanstead Flats. Roads still shut around Centre/Lake House Rd. so avoid for time being. Remember no fires, no BBQs, no cigarette ends and no litter as all can cause these fires.

Over the past 18 months we've conducted over 1000 visits to properties to crackdown on temporary accommodation fraud. Amongst other matters, we found 43 properties being misused and are now housing the 43 vulnerable families who need them. bit.ly/471dlkL
