@Tesla It still noses into my driveway and refuses to back in and park at my charger I use each day. Seems simple to add the 4th option of reverse driveway?

You can pick your preferred type of parking space (eg Parking Lot, Street, Driveway). Navigating to a Supercharger will auto select Charger To pick up or drop off someone, your car can pull up to the curb for a short stop

I will gladly pay $12 to park at a hotel when it comes with free charging. Being directly across the street from a commercial airport though? 😬

True V4 Tesla Supercharging Cabinet Review👎: 500kW Charging Speeds 1MW Cabinet Output Over 8 Stalls 400V to 1000V (Up from 250kW & 400V Peak, and also V4 has ki25% faster charging at full Superchargers) There are only 4 open, yes 4 V4 stations that have opened up thus far & my visit to Kissimmee, FL was not the best unfortunately. 5/8 Stations Down Trash Bin Overflowing & more

SeaTac Airport has about 40 L2 chargers in the parking deck but they are always full because they are free… these should be L1 wall outlets that would allow 10x the vehicles to charge for 1/10th cost of whatever all these pedestals cost…

@thecyberfam Not really. It's a rate based on estimated driving conditions. A useless number as it changes

It's a beautiful day in Florida and we're visiting the 4th US V4 Supercharger. It's pretty busy today 8 stalls, 2 are out of commission and 1 is Accessible. The other 5 were full when we showed up but nobody else in line so it only took a minute wait. Sadly we were at 39% when we arrived so we maxed out at 568 mph. $0.45/kWh (but we still get free until August) If you're in the area come check it out 👍⚡🔋📐

We order a new Ford Maverick. Dealer calls and said they got financing approved but it’s a high rate so they recommend we put more down and in the future get approved for the Ford credit line to make things easier. I ask the rate. 12.99% I say let’s pause on the deal and let me make a few calls. 5 mins later the phone rings. They magically got it down to 8.49%. Don’t let these guys try to screw you over.

@JSX423 @JanMHoffmann Very true. If it could take lefts on the roads and lights in my area and stop going 25 in a 50 then I might actually use it more. It's not worth the $109 with the constant disengagements.

@JanMHoffmann Every single thing that I mentioned is a major major issue and the current take rate is 12%, meaning 88% of people decide after a free trial to not use it - so I think the glass actually has a hole in the bottom...

Elon said "1 more piece" If you asked 50 people for a list like this you'd get 50 unique issues so I wonder which 1 thing solves everything. In V14.3 If: *FSD continues to stop at stop signs without painted lines - ITS NOT FIXED *Continues to ignore overhead arrows - ITS NOT FIXED *Does not avoid potholes, storm drains or deep manhole covers - ITS NOT FIXED *Does not have a controllable max speed - ITS NOT FIXED *Has speed caps on highway in some profiles (like Chill at +2) - ITS NOT FIXED *Has no parking options for a spot or the orientation of parking - ITS NOT FIXED *Continues timid reverse moves with tight tolerances moving forward - ITS NOT FIXED *Does not allow granular map changes near destination - ITS NOT FIXED *Does not slow for speed bumps EVERY single time - ITS NOT FIXED *Continues to not follow Do Not Enters, restricted time turns, Truck Speed Limits - ITS NOT FIXED

@DBurkland @jeff_keenan Exactly. The Level 2 EVSEs are designed to be unplugged and plugged a lot unlike a receptacle. You don't usually need 11kW units either. Simple 3kW ones are fine but lots of them.

@digiblur @jeff_keenan Yeah I don't get why people don't understand this. Also I think from a commercial perspective the difference between installing 120V vs 208V chargers is fairly minimal so commercial installations always default to 208V.

Why in the world is Consumer Reports quoting these insane, unrealistic insurance rates for Teslas? I’ve never heard of anyone paying $400/mo to insure a Model 3.

@DBurkland Don't see the point of airport L2 charging you are full in a few hours and could be blocking for days. it would be smarter to have 120V outlets with a way to pay for the power.

Wow... Just imagine - what if Tesla Nav was as good as Google Maps? 😬 Using FSD would be sick if you could just drag any point of the route to the road you want to go on... Nav issues would be a thing of the past - especially if it remembered your change. @DirtyTesLa @Tesla_AI

@AlejandroEV66 That big hole in the south is nuts. But hell if it wasn't for Tesla recently adding an 8 stall site and upgrading the 24 stall site to all non Tesla vehicles recently, New Orleans would still be a DCFC desert.

About a year ago, there were just 70 sites in the country with 400+ kW chargers. Today there are 400, and that number is growing at nearly one new site per day. We’re getting close to road trips using nothing but 400 kW chargers⚡⚡

@Dstrongertoget1 @IowaTesla It is a 48A EVSE. More efficient to charge it quickly and let the car sleep. The battery laughs at the slow 48A 11kW rate.

Did you know your electric meter is broadcasting your live usage data right now?! I sent Claude a photo of my LADWP meter, bought the suggested $49 antenna off Amazon, and in 1 minute and 6 seconds of Claude Code’s time, was seeing my live meter data. It even pulled my meter ID from the photo so it knew which signal was mine We are living in CRAZY times 🤯🤯🤯
