$5,000 to anyone who convinces @levelsio to use @Superwall
@levelsio@levelsio
It's so easy to make an iOS app with AI!!! I'm finally not iOS-retarded anymore 😊😊😊
English

@muso_am @levelsio @Superwall there is tons of value, if you don't use RC paywalls Superwall does everything they do for free.
if you use SW paywalls we charge 1% of revenue, only for users who go through our paywalls.

@arielmichaeli How does this compare to audiobooks? I don’t see a lot of audiobooks making this kind of money. I wonder if it’s distribution of production hurdles.

@HHaandr @jeiting @RevenueCat Was just being dramatic :)
but I’m glad you guys are on top of it. Thanks!

@dkt201474 @jeiting @RevenueCat Hey there! Don't think this has anything to do with 'demo code', but definitely a bug: I just reproduced it with this same app (which showed $1.2M in 28D revenue, which would be nice, but is far from accurate). I've let the team know
English

@plahteenlahti @RevenueCat Using RevenueCat SDK version 5.77.0
I know the change you are referring to, but this one is a bug.
No matter the week I’m getting the same $234,722.
To reproduce just click on RC last 28 days revenue and wait 5 seconds

@dkt201474 @RevenueCat Hey! What version of the app are you using? Recent version changed to using UTC like the dashboard

For the last 1.5 weeks, I've been building a creative production pipeline for Meta Ads.
Today with different formats (1:1 and 9:16) and multiple localizations I generated 900+ videos.
Around 50 of them were actually unique creatives.
A year ago this would've cost thousands of dollars and at least 2 weeks of work.
What AI still does poorly (for me):
- UGC. It's still not good enough. The only way I've managed to make it work is when the avatar stays silent. Then there's at least a chance people think it's real.
- ideation. I still haven't figured out how to make AI consistently brainstorm truly good ad concepts.
What AI does surprisingly well:
- animated ads (which I prefer anyway – in my experience they often outperform UGC)
- subtitles
- editing and stitching footage together
- localizations
- uploading everything to Google Drive
An incredible amount of production work can already be automated.

@ivesparrowai I know its a lot l, but if you can also have a similar document like ASA for Meta it will be a banger!

@mpappas74 can you please increase Concurrency quota and Monthly Quota for my account? 5 concurrent requests and 1000 hours per month is too limited.
I can easily clear 5000 hours a day.
Please check your DM. If there is Enterprise plan would love to hear about it as well.

@sebuzdugan @modulate_ai Are you getting a lot of 5xx from their endpoint in your product in production?
English

@modulate_ai accuracy charts miss endpointing errors which matter more than wer in production calls

A few months ago, when I was on $15k MRR, my wife asked me every month, "How much money do we have?"
And I always tried to justify why we have the same or less.
> We just had a flight here
> We had your mother and booked a hotel
> We spent a lot on our latest hotel
> We bought stuff to our dauther
But the reality was that I spent tons of money back in the business: buying backlinks, paying influencers, hiring freelancers, trying new marketing stuff.
Because I always looked at $15k as just $15k.
Because I know that every $1k a month that I make will translate into $36k in valuation when I sell.
And those early investments brought me to $113k MRR and a valuation of $4,068,000.
(showing the yearly revenue because Stripe monthly is broken for today)

95% of enterprise AI deployments fail.
That’s not a tooling problem. It’s a design problem.
In this clip, our CEO @mpappas74 breaks down why most AI products never make it past the demo stage - and what businesses actually need instead.
Not another “AI employee” to manage.
Tools that fit into real workflows and solve specific problems.
At @modulate_ai, that’s the lens we build through.

@jarredsumner Before migration from zig to rust did you have rust experience?

Been hearing from more and more people that ratings from prompts during onboarding often get deleted. Not sure what the heuristics are for that, but Apple does seem to be starting to discourage this practice.
(This is one of the tactics I’ve bristled at, but embraced from a “don’t hate the player, hate the game” perspective. When the App Store incentivizes certain practices and most other apps are doing it, you’re probably leaving money on the table if you don’t at least experiment with it.)
Chad Etzel@jazzychad
Hot take: Apple should instantly reject apps that prompt for rating during onboarding.
