A mayor represents every New Yorker. Using City Hall resources to post a one-sided video about Israel’s founding — omitting the UN partition plan, the Arab rejection, the reasons that many Palestinians left, the many who stayed and the 850,000 Jewish refugeesforced to leave Arab lands  — isn’t commemoration. It’s propaganda. Releasing it right before Shabbat isn’t leadership. It’s provocation. Especially when Nakba Day “commemorations” in this city featured open support for US-designated terror organizations, veneration of their leaders, and calls for Israel’s destruction. New Yorkers deserve a mayor with the moral clarity to call that out.

A historic Black cemetery in Palmetto, Florida, was vandalized, with graves damaged and “Trump” and “DeSantis” spray-painted across tombstones. Our ancestors deserve dignity in life and in death. Desecrating sacred burial grounds is hateful, painful, and unacceptable. We must protect Black history and honor the families impacted by this cruelty.

Calling Israel “genocidal” is an antisemitic political weapon, not a legal description. It turns raw Israel‑hatred into a slogan and empties “genocide” of its meaning. We finally owe rhetorical de‑escalation to the victims of real genocides (Shoa, Srebrenica, Armenians).

The Israeli apartheid regime is still committing genocide in Gaza and violently erasing entire communities across Palestine and Lebanon. We know the Nakba never ended; we are witnessing it live.

If you’re an 18 year old Jew, in Israel or the diaspora, practically your entire adolescence has been spent with constant radio Rwanda-style hatred and incitement against you every time you interact with your peers or go online, the largest hate campaign in human history. Teeming throngs of mystery meat biomass from all over the world, leftists, groypers, Islamists, all openly stating they want you and your loved ones to be murdered with hundreds of thousands of likes, cackling like hyenas when rockets and ballistic missiles fall on your friends and family, systematically bullying you out of every non-explicitly Jewish space. Is it any surprise that you’ve created the most radical generation of Jews since Begin and Ben Gurion? What did you think was going to happen? That only gentiles are permitted to be radicalized and experience negative polarization? Great work. Well done. Ultimately it is the Palestinians who will suffer from your stupidity. I hope the fun you had was worth it. The West Bank is already under full security control and rapidly being settled. Gaza is half depopulated and with what’s left of Hamas refusing to disarm, everything beyond the yellow line will inevitably become Israeli territory. Even if someday you and your buddies assemble an invasion force to “liberate” them, you will be decades too late.
