Venezuela’s🇻🇪 election loser Maria Corina Machado has won the Nobel Peace Prize: ‘If we win, we will move the Venezuelan embassy to Jerusalem to support Israel.’ Like many other US-backed Latin American politicians, her policies are copy & paste support for Israel, support for Washington’s neoliberalism, and servitude to US hegemony… So what has she actually done to win a Nobel Peace Prize?

She supports the U.S. waging war against her own country for regime change (theguardian.com/world/2019/may…). The Nobel "Peace" Prize, being its usual mockery of itself. Basically a reward for the most rabid defendents of a western liberal order, "peace" being a distant afterthought.
The Nobel Prize@NobelPrize

In the past year, #NobelPeacePrize laureate Maria Corina Machado has been forced to live in hiding. Despite serious threats against her life she has remained in the country, a choice that has inspired millions of people. When authoritarians seize power, it is crucial to recognise courageous defenders of freedom who rise and resist. Democracy depends on people who refuse to stay silent, who dare to step forward despite grave risk, and who remind us that freedom must never be taken for granted, but must always be defended – with words, with courage and with determination. @Ignis_Rex @Jkylebass I do wonder what these people were thinking when the USA was imposing the same things and even worse on China for the past 5 to 10 years?... So now they acknowledge China is finally fighting back, but somehow think this action just comes out of the blue... 🤡

‼️ China’s full embargo of rare earth minerals (including neodymium this time)…coupled with demands to settle transactions for iron ore in Yuan no longer amount to ‘economic statecraft’. The plates have shifted and we are now engaged in economic war. ‼️

16 years ago you called me a mouthpiece for a dying repressive regime. You do not use such language when speaking with a genocidal Zionist who has spent years crushing Palestinians. 10 years from now the Islamic Republic of Iran will be stronger and apartheid will be dead.

@TimCastleman @thecyrusjanssen Communists are Socialist, and it is this type of governance where the state controls the so called 'commanding heights of the economy'. For example; infrastructure, banking, key industries, natural resources and energy. This is the opposite to most Western countries.

@thecyrusjanssen I ask this question honestly. Is this because they are communist OR does that not impact this at all?

I’ve been traveling to China for nearly 20 years, whenever someone from America asks me, “What’s life in China like?” My response is always this. “I would tell you but you probably won’t believe me” This video shows why. Hard for most Americans to comprehend how advanced, clean, safe, and futuristic China has become. It’s one of the world’s biggest success stories and China will continue inventing tech that change the future of our world 🌍

@thecyrusjanssen @thoughtcrates1 What happened to Jack Ma between 2020 and 2023? Why the sudden removal from the public eye? Why was much of his company's stock handed over to the Chinese government and then distributed to new ownership groups?

1/2 What a grand welcoming ceremony for their humiliated compatriots—nothing says "solidarity" like waving the flag of the very nation that detained, humiliated, and shackled over 300 🇰🇷 workers in chains, while screeching accusations at China.
