I have no affiliation with @aftersell but wow, their onboarding is the best I've ever experienced. You install their shopify app, it asks you if you want a expert to help you, you click yes, and a minute later their team is literally setting upsells for me. Having been in B2B SaaS for 10+ years, most forget their buyers are lazy. Well done @Armon_Sho and my rep Patti🙌

2 weeks ago, we talked about how we’re using AfterSell to place ads on our post purchase confirmation page at Obvi and thereby adding $0.45 in net profit per transaction, a 15% increase in our AOV. I just spoke to a $100m brand that I referred over to them to test it out, and they are absolutely crushing it. The other day, I was on BlendJet’s website and I saw they were running it too. Here’s why I think it’s something that every brand should test: A) It’s 100% free and the merchant makes money each time the ad is clicked, pure profit B) No incremental lift on your end C) It’s an added bonus for your customer, which they will positively associate with your brand D) It’s great for margins Besides that, the results can even be double or triple of what it’s been for us if you’re a brand that’s selling high volumes at low AOV’s. (fashion, jewelry, etc) - because the ads show on every checkout and confirmation page. You don’t pay anything out of pocket. The advertiser pays both you and @Aftersell If you want to learn more about it, I'd recommend you to reach out to @dppatel_ or @Armon_Sho from AfterSell. Bad day for Entrepreneurship in Canada 🇨🇦👎. Capital gains tax rate is increasing from a 50% inclusion to 66%. This increases the net capital gains tax rate from 27% to 36%... Compared to the US which has a 20% capital gains tax rate (+ major incentives like QSBS) In my conversations with Canadian entrepreneurs, it's clear: They're feeling less motivated to build businesses here when moving just a bit south could mean saving a lot more.

We just added $0.45 in net profit per transaction, in 2 weeks, without doing anything. A fun experiment that we started to run 2 weeks ago was adding 3rd party offers to our thank you page. Think of it like this: I just sold collagen to a person who wants to get healthier, lose more weight, etc. ((Insert-BlueChipCompanyName)) wants to advertise to that same customer. Instead of them placing their ads on Meta, Google, Etc - they can allocate some budget and spend it on my website where they know they will hit the same customer demo + reach them at a time where they literally just committed to achieving some goal / solving some problem. It's a win for them. And. It's a win for me because I get to add $0.45 in pure profit, which is the same as something like $3 in revenue (or 15% increase in AOV in our case). @Armon_Sho convinced me to test this after @aftersell merged with ROKT to offer this service, and it's been an easy + highly profitable win from the get go. Can definitely recommend you to try it - or at least have a chat with @Armon_Sho about what you could potentially do together.
