Ancestry of the Indus Valley Civilisation 65,000 years ago, humans migrated out of Africa. One group got settled in South Asia. Meanwhile, the Ancient West Eurasian group split into Western and Eastern branches over 12,000 years ago. The Eastern (Iranian-related) Branch and the Ancient South Asians existed and interacted on the border of the Iranian plateau and South Asia (around present-day Balochistan) over the generations. Their mixed descendants developed early farming at Mehrgarh 9,000 years ago, which became a key precursor to the Indus Valley Civilisation. Mehrgarh and early IVC had more Iranian-related (or West Eurasian) ancestry than the South Asian. Later Indo Aryan from the Steppe migrated, and the Vedic period started after the IVC's gradual decline, around 3,000 years ago. People living far East and South of India came into less contact with West Eurasians and Indo Aryans compared to the people of the Northwestern subcontinent, as these groups moved from North West to South East. One of the theories put forward by some Indians that Mehrgarh and the IVC were primarily Dravidian is wrong. While some regions may or may not have spoken languages ancestral to Dravidian, the core population had more West Eurasian (Iranian-related) ancestry.

@Fintech03 @NBDwrites Truth can be distorted, but never destroyed. The practice of silence (thoughtlessness) is real wealth of our tradition and near to truth. The more we practice, more the truth stays near to us. By keeping that, the truth will destroy the narrative one day. It's a test match.
