@WhizzWig10 @IanMac08 I mean we’ve been building our squad about as long as your lot have fella, we’ve just done much better business over the last 18 months

@IanMac08 What a negative post no acknowledgement of any progress made as to this is the 1st season where the club has a direction. Millwall been slowly building their squad, Hull always had a good squad but poor management, Derby followed Warburton plan experience high wages finished 8th

15th again. Be prepared to be told, we gave many young players their debuts; injuries were not as bad as you lot think, not being in a relegation fight is a success, it's unfair to compare us with what Millwall, Hull, Derby have done and can you pay more next season, You R'ss.

Millwall fans I promise you the reason you didn’t get 2nd isn’t because QPR lost away at Ipswich. This is only your fault 😂😂😂😂

@Luke313131 Dunno man, when a nearly 30 year old forward, dealing with a spate of relatively recent injury issues, scores 2 goals in 36 games I think it probably isn’t a great idea to offer him a congrsct

People always say "well if you just did the game they'd wish they were playing it". No they wouldn't. You know how I know? Most video game set pieces are lifted from movies, and nobody goes back to those movies and are like "damn I wish I was playing this". Try directing good

I do not get why people overthink video game adaptations so much. They do not break from the Hollywood mold that much where it'd be hard to do at all. Like you can't work that premise and these set pieces into a functional film? How? Just treat it like a book or comic or whatever

@nom2609 And that is not to mention that it is the most industrialised and beholden to corporate interests medium in history. Even most Americans indie games require a huge amount of finance capital. What does this do to the work overall — not good things as we regularly see!

@nom2609 I think games are far more limited an artistic medium than your average DoD campaign, and no one is arguing that that or improv is art. I like games, I am a gamer!, but the rules based nature of gaming creates buffers to artistic experience at best and negates it at worst

@KotGTyt @Patrinst @Y0UCANNOTREDO “Eat your slop in peace” and it’s the dude asking for 1:1 recreation of badly translated afterthought plot tacked onto a Japanese game in the early period of 3D where devs were just hoping you’d be able to move about the space without breaking the whole thing

@Patrinst @Y0UCANNOTREDO Eat your slop in peace I never said I wanted a 1:1. I'm criticizing that this enemies are never seen in the RC outbreak which tells me that he made a zombie movie and slap the RE for popularity. Btw I'm true RE fan i watch all of them on youtube at 4k.

@Anthonysmdoyle That is the funniest thing about The Wire: David Simon refuses to accept the central theme he hammered home for five seasons with the subtlety of a jackhammer in his own fucking show that he wrote and ran. It is astounding.

David Simon yelled at me for saying this but the problem with The Wire is that it perfectly breaks down how broken American society is but David Simon himself believed that the system can be fixed without major societal change so the shoe doesnt offer any solutions.

@YuNow182 A lot, if not most art, contains symbolism that was not put into the work consciously. We select symbols because they resonate with one another somehow, and that often forms connections

@YoFriesWithThat @IGN Even though re 7 revived the franchise , they never went back to this style of presentation again . From re 8 it went back to its campy roots and then they went all in to their older style with 9 after the remakes.

The first fan reactions for Zach Cregger's Resident Evil movie trailer are in — and while some say the film looks like fun horror fare, many have complained that it doesn't look much like Resident Evil. bit.ly/498nqN1

Resident Evil 7 is a game that exists that is “accurate” to nothing outside of Chris and the Umbrella logo at the end for two seconds why does everyone just conveniently forget that the franchise is no stranger to new characters and new stories
August Raven@AugustRaven

Is it like, illegal for directors to make an accurate Resident Evil movie? Not to be all "I could do this better than a trained and proven industry professional with no experience" but I genuinely think I could at least make an accurate RE movie, it doesnt even seem hard to do?

@shadowoftheali Sorry, but film and other non-interactive mediums require far more work “on the viewers end” because to continue and appreciate those works you have to engage with their form, content and themes rather than just the first two.
