Day 5 with V14.1.7 in my Cybertruck. I have barely touched the steering for 3 days now. Tesla has solved autonomy! The way it handled a fire truck approaching in my lane several cars behind was mind-blowing. It started yielding before I could hear the siren (music was on) or see it in the schematic. It switched lanes safely when an 18-wheeler veered slightly from the adjacent lane on the freeway, handled speed bumps, and parked in reverse at my first destination with a stopover in between. It pulled out of a 3rd-floor garage, figuring out all the right turns on its own, etc., all very human-like—or dare I say, better than 90% of humans! No jerky movements or disengagements for me so far. It doesn’t like me looking at the phone at all though... Texts come on the big screen, but I have a secure chat app that doesn’t. And I still have to figure out how to get to my preferred parking area for a particular building!

BREAKING: Tesla has officially released FSD V14.3 I'm downloading it in my Model Y right now. Here's everything that's new: • Improved parking location pin prediction, now shown on a map with a P icon. • Increased decisiveness of parking spot selection and maneuvering. • Rewrote the Al compiler and runtime from the ground up with MLIR, resulting in 20% faster reaction time and improving model iteration speed. • Enhanced response to emergency vehicles, school buses, right-of-way violators, and other rare vehicles. • Mitigated unnecessary lane biasing and minor tailgating behaviors. • Improved handling of small animals by focusing RL training on harder examples and adding rewards for better proactive safety. • Improved traffic light handling at complex intersections with compound lights, curved roads, and yellow light stopping - driven by training on hard RL examples sourced from the Tesla fleet. • Upgraded the Reinforcement Learning (RL) stage of training the FSD neural network, resulting in improvements in a wide variety of driving scenarios. • Upgraded the neural network vision encoder, improving understanding in rare and low-visibility scenarios, strengthening 3D geometry understanding, and expanding traffic sign understanding. • Improved handling for rare and unusual objects extending, hanging, or leaning into the vehicle path by sourcing infrequent events from the fleet. • Improved handling of temporary system degradations by maintaining control and automatically recovering without driver intervention, reducing unnecessary disengagements. Upcoming Improvements: • Expand reasoning to all behaviors beyond destination handling. • Add pothole avoidance. • Improve driver monitoring system sensitivity with better eye gaze tracking, eye wear handling, and higher accuracy in variable lighting conditions.

Elon has a proven track record of reimagining entire industries. This is exactly what is needed in semiconductor manufacturing today. Terafab represents a step change in how silicon logic, memory and packaging will get built in the future. Intel is proud to be a partner and work closely with Elon on this highly strategic project 🚀🚀
Intel@intel

Intel is proud to join the Terafab project with @SpaceX, @xAI, and @Tesla to help refactor silicon fab technology. Our ability to design, fabricate, and package ultra-high-performance chips at scale will help accelerate Terafab’s aim to produce 1 TW/year of compute to power future advances in AI and robotics. It was fun hosting @elonmusk at Intel this past weekend!

I applied for the night shift position in Houston. I'm a retired person, and this was the first job application I have actually filled out since 1996. But with so much on the line for scaling of Robotaxi, I decided to put my hat in the ring, and apply. I may not get the position, but that's okay. I love this company and want to see it succeed. And I may know a little bit about night shifts in Houston. Wish me luck!

INSANITY! Newsom is asking for $126 BILLION more for his train to nowhere. Thankfully, we defunded Gavin’s CRAZY TRAIN. It’s time to end the lunacy for good and stop the waste! WATCH the clip from “60 Minutes”👇

Artemis II has reached its maximum distance from Earth. On the far side of the Moon, 252,756 miles away, Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy have now traveled farther from Earth than any humans in history and now begin their journey home. Before they left, they said they hoped this mission would be forgotten, but it will be remembered as the moment people started to believe that America can once again do the near-impossible and change the world. Congratulations to this incredible crew and the entire NASA team, our international and commercial partners, but this mission isn’t over until they’re under safe parachutes, splashing down into the Pacific.

This is actually unbelievable. Doctors are now trying to convince you to take statins and other drugs for absolutely NO reason. Not even an "abnormal" lab anymore. Seems the rest of the medical field is taking a page out of the vaccine playbook to make endless money.
Michael Albert, MD@MichaelAlbertMD

I'm 36. I'm a physician. I take a statin—and ezetimibe—every day. No symptoms. No cardiac history. Just an honest read of the evidence. Here's what I found—and why I stopped waiting for a reason to act.

Uncapped loans have only encouraged schools to hike tuition perpetually with debilitating consequences post graduation. Medical schools (and colleges) should be forced to reduce tuition. They should cut unnecessary bloat and demand more productivity from their staff if that's what it takes.

For those of you saying it’s free etc…I am not logging in to a second platform to read anything on X, payment required or not. If you want reach, give a decent description at least on X itself. Also, the X algo will prioritize original content over links that just want to get users to their own platform. That’s not some kind of ideological suppression.

It's not my data. The source is Cluvio, which is linked to in the article. I'd link to it in this tweet, but ironically, that would kill engagement. And I know that traffic is hard to count. Especially for a private company. But if you have more accurate data, then publish it.

@timurkuran @paulg While Nate’s data seems flawed, this is take is accurate. Leftists/Democrats, including the NYT, engaged in rabid anti-Elon, anti-X propaganda and led their side off X. Now they are complaining that they don’t have reach on X.

In leaving Twitter/X for essentially all-blue platforms like Bluesky, progressive leftists abdicated their capacity to influence middle-of-the-road constituencies. For the luxury of self-segregation from non-progressive views, they sabotaged their own political causes.
Nate Silver@NateSilver538

These are the Twitter/X accounts with the most engagement so far in 2026. I suppose I had some intuition for how bad it was, but jeez, this is what you get when the ecosystem is broken.

NEW: Musician Murphy Campbell says she isn’t making money on YouTube because an AI company is cloning her music and filing copyright claims against her own videos “An entity called Timeless Sounds IR uploaded AI-generated versions of my songs to all major streaming platforms... They used a distributor, which I just discovered, and that distributor’s name is Vydia. They used Vydia to upload all these AI-generated songs. Vydia has since decided to make copyright claims on all of the videos that were used to feed that AI engine to sound like me. So Vydia has come forward and made copyright claims on my YouTube page. Because YouTube does not personally review these things, I am no longer making money on YouTube. Vydia is making money on YouTube off of my own videos of me playing my own banjo in my own backyard with traditional folk songs, some for my own family, over AI-generated music.”
