@flag_crows@MrTL90@dani_rubee You do realise she said he fits right in because that’s what she is implying Adelaide players do. How can you be so ignorant to what she meant.
@SC___Scout I think most teams don’t have two very good scoring half backs with Ash and Whitfield. So both are always fighting for points off each other.
I don’t know why I subject myself to owning Lachie Whitfield in SuperCoach every year.
Always seems like he has to work so much harder than other half backs to even sniff a point.

@football360au I really wish he said this when VAR benefits them and not go against them. Because it’s just looks like sour grapes but we know it’s true.
Adelaide United head coach Airton Andrioli says VAR is 'destroying our game' 🗣️🎥
"Instead of talking about a great game of football tonight… I’m here talking about this again. Somebody has to look into that."
Do you agree?

Gonna be fr, all this “Heidelberg in the acl2” chat
And I genuinely may be the only one who doesn’t think it’s possible for an NPL club to meet AFC requirements.
@MurphysLawFPL@Souvla_@AnthNavy You do realise if Heidelberg make the ACL2, they’ll most likely have to play their games at AAMI Park to satisfy the requirements of being in the ACL2.
@Souvla_@AnthNavy And you’d be proud of 5k in a 30k seater?
Pretty sure if Heidelberg made ACL they’d get at least 3/4k which would be 1/3 of the stadium capacity
think we've found Sam Durhams role too, CBAs haven't been updated yet but they're almost certainly his lowest of the year yet it was comfortably his most impactful game.
was a nightmare for the opposition whenever he was near it and was always dangerous, perfect spot for him.
@MANSAM642407@FlightPlanPod Exactly.. played a good half in the VFL and was straight back in.
He needs to produce a good months straight of good performances (tackles and pressure more important than possessions) before he's even close to being considered for senior selection
Archie Perkins getting dropped will hopefully be the wake up call he desperately needs.
Back in 2008, St Kilda coach Ross Lyon pulled a shock move at the time, dropping Stephen Milne and Nick Dal Santo.
Their response was exactly what Ross wanted.
Dal Santo went on to win two of his three All Australian selections in 2009 & 2011, while Milne claimed two AA selections (2011 & 2012). Alongside that, he went on to claim three of his four Saints leading goal kicker awards following the omission.
Hoping Archie gets a similar chip on his shoulder after getting left out, drops the ego and gets back to work to be the best possible player he can be
@happyharrygrant@JasonBennettTV Agreed but the goal line is different. You can’t deliberately handball the ball out anywhere else on the field but you can on the goal line under pressure.
Hasn’t taken long for ‘Last Disposal’ to morph into ‘Last Touch.’ If ball goes out after glancing bottom of player’s boot or leg, he’s not getting a Disposal for that yet gets pinged for it. If umps need to confer, fair chance that no ‘Disposal’ was involved. #AFLCrowsBlues
@SilentGhost263@ScooterMcNeice Yeah I’d much rather see Durham go onto the wing over Tsatas. Durham started his career on the wing and really wasn’t that bad.
@XanderMcGuire7@7AFL@7NewsMelbourne Tsatas plays good in the VFL for weeks. Fans cry that he doesn't play AFL.
Plays AFL and stinks it up, proceeds to get dropped.
Cycle repeats.
Elijah Tsatas is set to play his first game of the season for Essendon.
It comes off the back of 36 disposals and eight clearances in the VFL v Footscray.
The prolific ball winner gets his chance v Melbourne. @7AFL@7NewsMelbourne
@lukesssssssss33@dylj91@DavidZita1 I don't remember what colour jocks I put on before I left the house this morning, but I remember what I had for breakfast. Am I unreliable too?
Lance Collard is fronting the AFL Disciplinary Tribunal. Follow via @FOXFOOTY and this thread… until I get on a plane at in 30 minutes or so and hand over to @maxlaughton.
Saints legal rep: "Do you recall calling Lance a coward?"
Hipwell: "I can't remember the exact words but it was something along the lines of, 'You're an idiot mate.'"
@fluffblack@7AFL@kanecornes One of the kicks he could only make a diving effort to try and mark the ball. He’s being ridiculed on that one for a terrible kick to him.
The 'nocs were out in Kane's Watch Tower 👀

Tom Edwards fascinates me as a footballer.
In an era where we speak so much about athleticism and size, he’s just a footballer’s footballer who has anchored Essendon’s forward line with nous and craft to kick 2.2.
Rewards the Dons’ faith, I guess. Intrigued to watch him more.
Gonna cop flak for it. But I’d like to see cox again at afl throw him in. Definitely isn’t on form but who knows he might benefit from being back at afl level.
@MrCricketAust Because Scott likes to give senior players third, fourth and fifth chances to see if they can turn it around. Which they never bloody do.
If Elijah Tsatas can even bring some energy to the team even in the short term I'm all for it. Some players rub coaches the wrong way and miss out on line ball selections but I have not heard anything negative about him? Did miss a shout at the pub or something?
@gomvfc Absolutely no excuses members and fans getting to the game on Sunday Afternoon its all to play for not only finals spot & now even possibly get into ACL Elite or ACL Two for next season big opportunity to get within five points off top with a win need to continue performing well.
