A 22YO Tanya Bharadwaj, asked a question to Mamata Banerjee and Mamata got furious, labelled her CPI cadet, Maoist and more and walked off the stage. That same night, Tanya had to leave Kolkata as goons and party supporters were allegedly after her, according to a batchmate. Sagarika Ghose did not support or defend her. Tanya later wrote that she felt petrified and wanted to leave the city permanently. Her fall is inevitable.

I have immense respect for You but it is people like You who build narratives with their coloured lens. I have covered every election since 2002 and was hit by goons in North 24 Parganas. They used my camera tripod to hit me in 2009 after which I was rushed to hospital due to injuries… Then again I was heckled in 2019 for shooting rigging in booths. Parties may win or lose.. people have the right to vote and chose..yet lakhs could never vote due to “chappa culture” prevalent as a “norm” in the state since last century but there was never any hue and cry over it from the most respected ones of the society !! No one can deny that in this election… West Bengal had least blood shed and violence. I am a proud voter of Bengal…and we respect the decision of the people… Whoever wins…rules the state with people’s mandate🌟 Yet… If nothing else.. we are very proud of witnessing the most peaceful elections ever…and a historic one for sure… जय माँ काली 🌟💕🙏

To my mind, this Bengal election is a litmus test of whether we have fallen below the minimum threshold of electoral integrity, whether electoral democracy has any future at all. I cannot get into numbers, but all the credible information that I have been able to gather so far points to a comfortable lead for the TMC, more than enough to make up for the SIR damage. If despite this the ECI manages to conjure a victory for BJP, this has to be the result of an electoral fraud. Such an (unlikely, despite what exit polls say) event must get the entire opposition to come together and ask if there is any point of contesting any more elections under these circumstances. — Yogendra Yadav

It has come to my notice that several Officers assigned for Counting Day duties are reportedly disclosing their specific duty details, locations, and designations to their respective departmental organizations and associations. I have received information that spreadsheets and lists are being circulated where Officers are voluntarily or under pressure filling out their "Election Duty Info," including specific roles in the counting process. This is a grave violation of election protocols, and may draw:- 1. Risk of Undue Influence: When an Officer's specific deployment is known to a politically tilted organization or union, it opens the doors for unnecessary political influence and intimidation. 2. Threat to Neutrality: The sanctity of the counting process relies on the confidentiality of personnel deployment. Any breach of this secrecy directly affects the impartiality of the results. 3. Pressure Tactics: Such "data collection" by associations is often a veiled attempt to put pressure on Officers to favor the ruling dispensation during the crucial counting hours. I strongly urge the Election Commission of India and the Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal, to take immediate cognizance of this matter, and issue strict directives prohibiting any Officer from disclosing their assigned counting duty to any organization or association. Also, kindly initiate a probe into these organizations that are collecting such sensitive deployment data. @ECISVEEP @CEOWestBengal

Instead of apologising, he insulted Savarkar just like his master Rahul Gandhi. In response, Ashok Srivastav told him that his master Rahul Gandhi is not even equivalent to the dust particles on shoe of Veer Savarkar. Now, a case has been registered against DD News anchor Ashok Shrivastav at the Begumpura police station in Hyderabad, Telangana. The complaint was filed by an official of the Youth Congress. Ashok Srivastav did nothing wrong. Rahul Gandhi and his minions have consistently insulted Veer Savarkar. It was good that someone insulted them back. All those journalists on payroll of Congress who cry about about Press Freedom every now and then won't speak a word now.
