Yet, the hearing was moved to take place mere days after the Scottish Parliamentary elections?
It is vital that we find out why the hearing date was moved.

The fact the SNP think independence is the most pressing thing Parliament could debate suggests the government is set to waste the next 5 years.

I have never knowingly interacted with Kelly in the past. She was the one who made the choice to post a defamatory comment about me on a public forum. Actions have consequences, but will let my lawyers sort this out in future - they have had great success with @PoliceScotland

Police might charge a person with a minor crime but COPFS can and do amend charges or drop them altogether.
For more complex cases the police are instructed what to do by COPFS, who to interview, who to charge and with what.

Today, I asked John Swinney if he thought he lacked judgement in the appointment of Peter Murrell.
I also asked the First Minister if the Lord Advocate will publish reasons for why Nicola Sturgeon was not investigated further.
The whole sorry saga stinks.

Peter Murrell has been granted legal aid after being charged with embezzlement, and there are now concerns Scottish taxpayers could end up footing the bill because the SNP still haven’t repaid the £60,000 they owe him.
Let that sink in.
At a time when families are struggling with the cost of living and public services are under huge pressure, taxpayers could now be paying for the consequences of the SNP’s financial scandal.
The public deserve answers about why this money still hasn’t been repaid, who knew what at the top of the SNP, and why ordinary Scots should be expected to pick up the tab for this mess.

Its much harder to secure temporary support to get through a bad patch than it is to secure long term state aid, and dont get me started on eligibility critera…..🤦♂️

I grew up in Aberdeen at the height of the oil boom, and never thought of it as "our" (ie only Scottish) energy. Because the Aberdeen I remember was an outward-looking place with an expansive worldview. Then the SNP took hold, of course.
