Peter Murrell, Nicola Sturgeon’s estranged husband, admitted stealing £400,000 from the SNP. Yet, the hearing was moved to take place mere days after the Scottish Parliamentary elections? It is vital that we find out why the hearing date was moved. This is what I asked the First Minister today.

The Scottish Parliament has officially called for the UK Government to devolve the powers which would allow it to hold a second independence referendum UK Gov has said no. How long can that refusal last? 🤔

The fact the SNP think independence is the most pressing thing Parliament could debate suggests the government is set to waste the next 5 years. We need to be focussed on fixing the NHS and care, helping people with the cost-of-living crisis and fixing the roads and the ferries.

Today, I asked John Swinney if he thought he lacked judgement in the appointment of Peter Murrell. I also asked the First Minister if the Lord Advocate will publish reasons for why Nicola Sturgeon was not investigated further. The whole sorry saga stinks.
Scottish Conservatives@ScotTories

The Lord Advocate must publish the reasons why the Crown Office chose not to charge Nicola Sturgeon as part of Operation Branchform. The public deserve the truth. No secrecy. No cover-up. Full transparency.

I see this pair of grifters are wasting the time of the Ethical Standards Commissioner with a spurious complaint, after being roasted by @jk_rowling. They have already broken the rules by making the complaints public. Will add to 145 complaints against me so far, not 1 upheld.
The National@ScotNational

A Tory MSP has been reported to Scottish parliamentary authorities for alleged 'bullying' after backing JK Rowling amid a row over Peter Murrell’s criminal activities and Nicola Sturgeon

Peter Murrell has been granted legal aid after being charged with embezzlement, and there are now concerns Scottish taxpayers could end up footing the bill because the SNP still haven’t repaid the £60,000 they owe him. Let that sink in. At a time when families are struggling with the cost of living and public services are under huge pressure, taxpayers could now be paying for the consequences of the SNP’s financial scandal. The public deserve answers about why this money still hasn’t been repaid, who knew what at the top of the SNP, and why ordinary Scots should be expected to pick up the tab for this mess.

Listening to John Swinney regurgitate the SNP manifesto - uninterrupted-demonstrates why this SNP Gov is knackered He claims this is a new Parliament -but it’s the same, old SNP faces on the front bench. With the same, stale ideas What on earth have they been up to for 20 years?

@DameEcossaisse @GlasgowGuy2015 @No_Bikers The cruelest thing about Scotgovs welfare policy, is the way in which it lets down people in actual need. Its much harder to secure temporary support to get through a bad patch than it is to secure long term state aid, and dont get me started on eligibility critera…..🤦‍♂️

@F9340891660 @Free_Caledonia @snapperup You're clearly not very intelligent. Norway used their oil money correctly. Ours was chucked down to you cunts to waste, making Scotland poorer in the process.

@im2mac07 @ScotTories @RussellFindlay1 @KemiBadenoch It's quite ironic to see them jump on this after ineos decided to shut Grangemouth while they were in power also. Torys will always tory and never stand up for anyone other than the rich.

@ScotTories @RussellFindlay1 @KemiBadenoch People, of course, will still remember what the Tories did to the oil and gas industry during the 14 years of disastrous government driven by the Tories.

Unlike the SNP and Labour, we will always stand up for North Sea oil and gas. Today @RussellFindlay1 and @KemiBadenoch told voters they can say enough is enough by voting Scottish Conservative in Aberdeen South.

Great team out on the doors in Aberdeen South today with @RussellFindlay1, @AJABurnett and @HarrietCross_MP. The message from voters is clear. People are fed up with the SNP and Labour putting North East jobs at risk. We need to back our energy industry and Get Britain Drilling.

@murdo_fraser It wasn't the snp that sent the money down south instead of investing it in Aberdeen.
