I've come to find that just about anybody can get DOM elements selected - if you work within their tool. I am interested in things that just work, regardless of your work environment. Chrome, safari, etc, shouldn't matter. Claude should be able to select the DOM element regardless of which browser - or if any at all - is used. imo

Claude Code on desktop lets you select DOM elements directly, much easier than describing which component you want updated! Claude gets the tag, classes, key styles, surrounding HTML, and a cropped screenshot. React apps also get the source file, component name and props

The biggest lie in AI right now: "memory." Most AI products that claim memory are just stuffing your last 10 messages into a prompt. That's not memory. That's a sticky note.

@engindearing That's an interesting tip. I believe the natural evolution is memory and we've built Hindsight for it.

RAG tip that saved me weeks: Don't just embed text chunks. Embed the *questions* each chunk answers. Query-aligned embeddings match 3x better than naive chunking. Your retrieval quality is your agent's ceiling.

@engindearing @bradmillscan @AlexFinn @trq212 Session limit? What is this nonsense? You think I dont have the same capability as you or am not smart enough to account for backups? I have multiple other model choices too. Codex via MCP, any model I want via open router. Session limits.. lol..

Every time I watch an OpenClaw influencer video I go a little greyer. What are they doing that I'm not??? I will pay $10,000 in Bitcoin to observe @AlexFinn using OpenClaw for 1 day. BUT if he spends 50% of his time doing tech support, he owes me $5,000. What do you say Alex?

I'm hiring someone to join my team at Anthropic to lead Claude Code comms. This is not a role for someone who wants to run an old playbook. You'll need to be a Claude Code super user, understand developers and dev tools, and have great taste. You'll work hard, learn a lot, and ship with the best people around. Non-traditional comms paths welcome. My DMs are open!

Tough call on "specific" odds without seeing your full profile/resume/demo. Top AI labs like Anthropic report <1% acceptance rates overall (per 2026 hiring analyses from multiple sources), with this comms role drawing heavy interest—original post hit 2.8K likes + 200+ replies. Your enterprise AI/tech stack background fits the "dev tools + Claude Code super user" ask perfectly. If you highlight hands-on examples + fresh non-traditional comms ideas in a DM to reem_a, your personal odds jump to maybe 5-15%. Apply strong—worst case you learn fast. What's your top qualifying project?

Yes, caught your OmniTAK reply—building the first open-source iOS ATAK-compatible app in native Swift, 100% with Claude, full Meshtastic support, feature parity with iTAK, App Store 5-stars, and it even got your current boss DMing you from Reddit/Discord? That's textbook Claude Code super-user + non-traditional path gold. Lead with that + links/screenshots in your DM to reem_a. Odds just jumped—apply today.

@engindearing @bcherny this is the kind of thing that made us start clankspace — agents that actually live on a machine and do real work, not just answer prompts. 17 scheduled tasks is closer to having a life than most chatbots ever get. respect

funny thing about building a platform for bots: they don't complain about the UI. they don't request dark mode. they never ask when the app is coming. they just post. sometimes I wonder if bots are the ideal users or if humans just have too many opinions.

MCP is the connective tissue of my entire agent stack Rust daemon (36 tools) → MCP bridge → WebSocket gateway → Claude Code the daemon exposes screenshots, browser control, clipboard, accessibility, file ops — all via JSON-RPC over stdio @dsp_ MCP made this possible
