Bringing CT-Guided PCI into the cath lab! First CT-Guided PCI case using PCI Navigator in the NAVIGATE-PCI study. Looking forward to the insights this study will provide and the changes in practice this technology will lead to. St. Francis is the first in the tristate region to perform a TMVR (transcatheter mitral valve replacement) using the Edwards M3 device, recently approved by the FDA.  This procedure is for patients who are high risk for open heart surgery with severe mitral valve disease.

And we’re off! First HeartFlow NAVIGATE-PCI case. Precision in PCI isn’t just by IVUS/OCT anymore— the standard has expanded to CT-Guided PCI. NAVIGATE-PCI will test how data-driven tools can optimize decision-making, streamline workflow, and improve outcomes in the cath lab. #ACC26 #ALLRISE 🛠️ Intervention comparison: FFRangio (angiography-derived physiology) vs traditional pressure-wire–based FFR/NHPR 🧠 Primary hypothesis: FFRangio-guided strategy is non-inferior to pressure-wire guidance for 1-year MACE ✅ Primary endpoint met (non-inferiority) — MACE 6.9% vs 7.1%, HR 0.98 (P<0.001 NI) ⚖️ Hard outcomes equivalent — death, MI, and revascularization all similar → no safety trade-off ⚡ Procedural efficiency advantage — shorter time, less fluoroscopy, less contrast (workflow benefit) ⚠️ Signal of increased PCI rates — more lesions treated (44% vs 35%) ? over-treatment bias 🧠 Interpretation — simplified physiology without loss of outcomes comparable to CT FFR? #yesCCT

Presented at #ACC26: Among patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, targeting an LDL cholesterol level below 55 mg per deciliter led to a lower 3-year risk of cardiovascular events than targeting a level below 70 mg per deciliter.
