The Eglinton Crosstown LRT will most likely open on February 8th 2026. The City and Metrolinx were in conflict over the opening date, with Metrolinx wanting to open the line on December 28th. globalnews.ca/news/11570650/…

It’s wrong that the Finch & Eglinton LRTs don’t have signal priority. Billions of dollars were spent, only for “rapid transit” to go slower than the buses it replaced. Last Spring at Council, I moved for signal priority on these lines. The 2026 budget must fund this priority.

13 days since I reported this to @cibc. No communication. No money returned. There was another charge while I was on the phone with them. No live agents on chat. On hold today listening to a recording of all the ways they protect clients. Gave up after an hour.
